  • Paradise found!

"This year was our 5th trip to Villa Marcaribe. it is WONDERFUL! Our group of friends love staying here each time. The caretakers are nice and accomodating. The house is beautiful. The location is fantastic! We love having our own pool. The chef service is out of this world! Lots of villas to choose from on Soliman Bay, but we can't imagine a better one! We are already planning our 6th visit. :)"

  • A great way to celebrate Christmas!

"This is a lovely house and the caretakers were attentive but not intrusive. Everything was spotless and the house is in excellent condition. It's easy to get into town for shopping, yoga, and meals, or just walk down the road a bit to a relaxed restaurant and swimming area. We swam in several "cenotes" (new to me!) in the area, also. There's a ground floor bedroom if a guest needs accessibility, but several steps up to the front door. We are hoping to return in the coming years!"

  • Paradise

"Loved my week long stay at Casa Palmeras! The staff was fantastic and the house was even better than the pictures. We saw turtles, manta rays, Barracudas, and a huge school of fish while snorkeling in the bay. Very private and relaxing location. I would definitely stay at Casa Palmeras again."

  • excellent piece of paradise!

"Stayed at Nah Yaxche for 9 days in Dec 2016 with family and it was absolutely perfect! We're already planning our return. The pictures were a little confusing when I was booking, but Dave responded quickly to all my questions. The main unit has the living room and kitchen with the main bedroom and bathroom. Separated from the house is the casita with one bed and it's own bathroom. This is perfect if your traveling with friends or with family and want some privacy. Both units have an amazing view of the water, which I will get to in a bit. I was concerned about mosquitoes, but there were barely any! Most of my bites were from outings to Tulum, which is a quick drive away. The roads on the highway are smooth and easy to drive. Dave gives very clear directions once you book and the drive from the airport is easy if you follow his directions or your gps. The main dirt road leading to the house must have been re-done because it was smooth without any potholes. Once you get closer to the house the road gets a little bumpy, but very manageable even with a small sedan. You have to drive slow anyways. The beach is priceless! This is my fifth time to the Cancun/PDC area and nobody beats the water in soliman bay. I'm hesitant to rave about this place because I want it all to myself! Everyday you'll see turtles popping their heads out of the water just while sitting on the beach chairs. Take the kayaks out and there are boat ties to park and go snorkeling or just go snorkeling off the beach. Anywhere you go you'll see fish and turtles! The water was calm enough to sit in my floater and relax. Abdulio the Flor, the housekeepers, were lovely and have great tips if you ask. They've been there for 20 years or so so they know a thing or two about the area. We ended up arriving much later than expected for our check in due to traffic in Cancun from an event plus rainy weather on our drive from the airport and Abdulio was ready and waiting for us. I could not ask for a better vacation home. We'll definitely be back!"
