  • A great way to celebrate Christmas!

"This is a lovely house and the caretakers were attentive but not intrusive. Everything was spotless and the house is in excellent condition. It's easy to get into town for shopping, yoga, and meals, or just walk down the road a bit to a relaxed restaurant and swimming area. We swam in several "cenotes" (new to me!) in the area, also. There's a ground floor bedroom if a guest needs accessibility, but several steps up to the front door. We are hoping to return in the coming years!"

  • Enjoy Peace and Solitude!

"Our family stayed at the Hacienda Kass in January 2017. This home is undoubtedly one of the nicest homes on Soliman Bay, which is the premier bay near Tulum, Mexico. The grounds are exquisitely manicured by a husband/wife caretaker team and the entire premises give the impression of being in the jungle while at the same time on the beach. There are numerous places outside the house to enjoy the peace and solitude of these beautiful surroundings. That is not the case with many of the other homes in the area. The house itself is huge and well appointed. Each item appears hand selected and custom in accordance with the style of the house. The third floor deck is unusual for most homes in the area. It is great for star gazing and a wonderful location to enjoy a drink and watch the sunset. For a large group or family, Hacienda Kass is extremely well suited for a wonderful getaway. I recommend Hacienda Kass without reservation."

  • Lovely house in a peaceful location

"First off, the house is quite lovely. It's at the end of a quiet street next to other luxury houses. We were there of Christmas and most of the other houses seemed unoccupied. The beach was right in front of the house and largely empty (we saw 1-2 other people per day). The 4 bedrooms in the main house are amazing and all of the public areas were grand and delightful. The two bedrooms in the 'basement' are dark and a little depressing. The kitchen was wonderful to cook in. It could fit pretty much all of us (11 family members from three generations). The pots and pans and utensils were lacking (the owners must not cook), but there were plenty of plates and cups and stuff. The power went out a couple of times and we had a friendly mouse, but other than that the place was perfect for our needs. We loved the ruins in Coba, the Akumal Monkey Sanctuary, Sac Actun, the Xel-Ha amusement park, Hartwood (in Tulum) and the beach in Tulum. Carlos (the manager) was AWESOME. Friendly, clear english, helpful, responsive, etc. We talked to him or texted every few days with an issue and he always resolved them immediately. Super lucky. There was also another Carlos who tended to the garden, a housekeeper and a security guard all of whom were friendly and competent, but since we didn't share a language there wasn't much communication there."
