  • Always a fantastic time at Casa Mimosa

"My friends and I just returned from 7 days of absolute paradise at Casa Mimosa. From the minute we arrived on the island everything was taken care of. Our group of four couples can't say enough about Casa Mimosa. The house itself is huge and has one of the best pools on the island. The king size beds are incredibly comfortable. The house and grounds were spotless along with the pool. Gaspar the care taker had pre arraigned golf carts for us which were at the house upon arrival. Whatever you may need Gaspar is there to help. I have stayed on the island for over 7 years and can say Casa Mimosa is my favorite place on the island. I can't say enough about the house and the way it is maintained in such a professional manner. I look forward to hopefully returning next year as our group of four couples can't wait to come back to Casa Mimosa."

  • Fantastic Condo

"This was our first vacation to the Ocean and I am so thankful we stayed at this wonderful penthouse. We were going to do an all inclusive and I am so happy that we didn't. The location of this penthouse could not be better. It's located minutes from the beach and right off of the main street where all the action happens but down far enough down that the noise from the night life does not keep you up at night. The owner and the staff of the management company could not be more helpful. This being our first trip I had a lot of questions, all of which were answered in a kind and timely manner and the service we received was great. It was wonderful to have a kitchen to cook most of our meals in but when we wanted to go out everything was a walking distance away. The penthouse was decorated beautifully, was clean and the views were amazing, especially in the morning when the sun came up. We did not rent a car, we just used taxi's the local bus and transport services for very affordable rates if we were going somewhere other than Playa Del Carmen. You really never have to leave more than walking distance but if you want to explore more everything is pretty close by. I highly recommend going to Akumal beach, just a short drive away and snorkeling with the Sea Turtles. You can snorkel for free or get a guide for a very reasonable rate. You can also do various activities in the jungle and go on a day trip to the Mayan ruins and the Chichén Itzá Cenote. You can also reach Cozumel for a day trip by walking to the ferry boat. It was great to walk to the beach and if you forgot something or just needed to go back for lunch it was a short walk back. The owner Barbara has put together some wonderful information about the local restaurants, things to do, shops for any of your needs, grocery store locations and more. It was incredibly helpful and appreciated. Barbara and the Playa Paradise management staff made the trip easy, relaxing and incredibly enjoyable."

  • A week in Paradise

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: After about 13 hours of travel time (Taxi/Airplane/Taxi/Ferry/Taxi) we finally got to our destination, a nice studio with all the facility to cook our own meals. The studio is exactly what we were looking for. We had direct access to the beach and to 4 pools. The place is quiet with a nice landscape. The groceries and most of the restaurants are 15 Km away in San Miguel. We enjoyed the paved bicycle path around the Island, mainly used by scooters. We did a lot of snorkeling using our own gear in front of the residence and in other location close by. The weather was a bit cloudy and it rained a few times (nothing to bother us)."

  • Great vacation home!!

"We returned last week from a family get together at Casa Margarita. I highly recommend this property as it is a beautiful property with friendly staff and Meta is so easy to work with. We also had Sonia and Marcos in to cook for us the day of our arrival as they were so highly recommended and we agreed and had them back our last night also!! We all loved the pool, especially our 2 year old grandson who was in the pool by 7 AM every day!! The beach is so nice and just a little ways down there is an old pier underwater with great snorkeling. We loved the little restaurants in town and highly recommend Tacos.com, El Nicho for breakfast (try the seedy papaya) and My Little Italy!! The bedrooms are all nice with their own bathroom so no fighting over bathroom time!! Each bedroom also has a balcony and the views are stunning!! The Chedraui close by was one of our favorite places and we went often to purchase baked goods and to try new foods. Every morning there were people practicing Tai Chi, yoga, and meditation on the beach!! I just can't say enough about this area and how nice and welcoming it was!! We used the taxi service every day and they were so fast and helpful!! Thanks again - we loved it!! PS - bring cash as very few places take cards!!"
