  • Beautiful, relaxing beach cabana!

"Our family of 5 (2 adults, children ages 13-18) just returned from a 4 week adventure traveling around the Yucatan Peninsula. The first leg of our adventure was a 6-night stay at Casita Dragonfly. If you want to relax and get away from it all, stay at Casita Dragonfly! We spent hours snorkeling, kayaking, and reading on the wonderful palapa porch (with a constant breeze blowing that kept any mosquitos at bay and ensured a wonderful temperature.) Casita Dragonfly sits right on the beach, steps away from the ocean. You need not put on a pair of shoes while there as the property sits right on the sand - although there is enough vegetation that not once did we have sand blowing around. Although the house has wifi, we enjoyed staying unplugged for the most part. Fans and screened windows kept us cool at night, the kitchen is equipped with all you'll need, and there are plenty of tables and chairs spread throughout the house and on the porch so that you're never far away from a place to sip a cool drink and read a good book. We were interested in snorkeling the reef, which is accessible from the beach - a very long swim, but more easily accessed by the kayaks the property provides. Our first two outings to the reef were amazing, flat water and wonderful visibility - sting ray, manta ray, tropical fish, beautiful coral. After those days, it got windy which made the porch even more comfortable, but made snorkeling impossible - instead, we took the kayaks out for long trips, where we were lucky enough to spot a sea turtle and a family of manatees. The town of Mahahual is a 30 minute drive for restaurants and basic necessities, but we preferred to stay at the Casita and away from the cruise ship crowds. While at the Casita, the only other people we ever saw were the wonderfully kind caretakers who checked in daily to make sure we had enough drinking water and that the cistern was full. The owners of the Casita have decorated it with many little touches that make the house extremely comfortable and special. There are colorful, decorative pillows all over and several options for lounging (a hanging bed, a lounge bed in the sun, a hammock and many lounge chairs - both on the porch and on the beach). The five of us had plenty of space to sleep and spread out. The property would also be perfect for two couples to share as there are two distinct sleeping areas/bathrooms-one upstairs, one downstairs. Extremely helpful are the detailed instructions provided by owners."

  • Excellent for Family Vacation

"Stayed for a week with 3 adults and 3 young children. The condo was great for our needs. One of the beds does not have privacy, which was not an issue for our group. Kitchen is quite functional. Views from the decks are fantastic. The pool was excellent for small children - plenty warm, with shallow areas for sitting/ wading and nice length for swimming. Decent snorkeling in front of the condo. Nice gym. Small beach - not a "walking beach" but again good for small kids. Perfect location north of town - very easy/ short drive to town for grocery shopping, restaurants, and access to dive shops. Enjoyed a tasty dinner cooked by the chef who works at the complex. Would definitely return."

  • Playa Del Carmen.. Till we meet again!

"I stayed at Xaman Ha June 23-June 30th. I had an awesome experience. Condos were clean and accommodated all mine and my kids needs. I traveled with my 23 year old and 11 year old. it is steps away from the beach. there is a security guard on duty. the location is very close to all the main streets and the taxis are right outside of the gated community. I felt safe and close to all the places I needed to get to. **Sarai Garcia **was EXCELLENT! she responded quickly to every question and was a life saver when my daughter forgot my Canon there, she shipped it to me. some small complaints: wifi doesn't work well."

  • Stunning.

"From the time of arrival, everything was in order. Debbie was gracious. She showed us the how to operate the pool, gave us the house rules, and most importantly introduced us to the jem Silvia. The house has a full functioning kitchen and Silvia can utilize it fantastically!! Her cooking is amazing and you get first class service at a fraction of the cost you would pay at any restaurant. I recommend to anyone interested in visiting Cozumel to consider booking this property. It is minutes from the Mega Supermarket which we love. It is also minutes from the center of town. Great location, Great Price, Great House, and Great People. If I ever get time for another vacation I will definitely go back and stay at Villa Oasis. I would give it definitely more than 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"
