  • Best Condo!!

"I usually never leave reviews but I just had to for this condo. I absolutely loved it! The apartment itself was perfect, spacious, clean and had an amazing beach/pool view! The location was great just a few steps from Quinta Avenida and from the Taxi spot. I loved how you felt secure in this condo with their 24 hour security and if you had any questions/problems you could just go to the front desk and they would assist you. THEY EVEN HAVE ROOM SERVICE!!! Its as if you're staying in a hotel but with a much much bigger space of your own. We have rented a few condos/apartments on our annual trips and so far this has been my favorite! I will definitely come back. Maia the owner was very helpful and informative and the booking process was very easy. I am usually the type that worries a lot about scams but with Maia it was different right away she makes you feel that it is secure. So don't think about it twice BOOK LUNA ENCANTADA F2 FOR YOUR NEXT VACATION! You will definitely not regret it!"

  • Beautiful, relaxing beach cabana!

"Our family of 5 (2 adults, children ages 13-18) just returned from a 4 week adventure traveling around the Yucatan Peninsula. The first leg of our adventure was a 6-night stay at Casita Dragonfly. If you want to relax and get away from it all, stay at Casita Dragonfly! We spent hours snorkeling, kayaking, and reading on the wonderful palapa porch (with a constant breeze blowing that kept any mosquitos at bay and ensured a wonderful temperature.) Casita Dragonfly sits right on the beach, steps away from the ocean. You need not put on a pair of shoes while there as the property sits right on the sand - although there is enough vegetation that not once did we have sand blowing around. Although the house has wifi, we enjoyed staying unplugged for the most part. Fans and screened windows kept us cool at night, the kitchen is equipped with all you'll need, and there are plenty of tables and chairs spread throughout the house and on the porch so that you're never far away from a place to sip a cool drink and read a good book. We were interested in snorkeling the reef, which is accessible from the beach - a very long swim, but more easily accessed by the kayaks the property provides. Our first two outings to the reef were amazing, flat water and wonderful visibility - sting ray, manta ray, tropical fish, beautiful coral. After those days, it got windy which made the porch even more comfortable, but made snorkeling impossible - instead, we took the kayaks out for long trips, where we were lucky enough to spot a sea turtle and a family of manatees. The town of Mahahual is a 30 minute drive for restaurants and basic necessities, but we preferred to stay at the Casita and away from the cruise ship crowds. While at the Casita, the only other people we ever saw were the wonderfully kind caretakers who checked in daily to make sure we had enough drinking water and that the cistern was full. The owners of the Casita have decorated it with many little touches that make the house extremely comfortable and special. There are colorful, decorative pillows all over and several options for lounging (a hanging bed, a lounge bed in the sun, a hammock and many lounge chairs - both on the porch and on the beach). The five of us had plenty of space to sleep and spread out. The property would also be perfect for two couples to share as there are two distinct sleeping areas/bathrooms-one upstairs, one downstairs. Extremely helpful are the detailed instructions provided by owners."

  • Great Location! Great views!

"The location was excellent for those who don't want to catch a cab or a bus to enjoy the nightlife and for those who would like to enjoy the beach. All of the bars and clubs (coco bongo, fat tuesdays, la vaquinta, the city) were directly beside the hotel if you walked out of the front door. Their was also direct beach access directly out of the back door. I wouldn't recommend the Salvia for a family atmosphere. It was safe but it was loud at times and there is a lot of action near the clubs after about 7pm that children shouldn't be around."

  • Excellent 2 bedroom Condo- home away from home

"We have stayed for a month in this comfortable Condo the previous 2 years and are booked in for another month in March of next year. The security personnel are friendly and helpful when you need a hand. The condo is clean and well equipped with appliances, tv, internet and more. Location is perfect as there is a Mega store a block away, fish markets, vegetable markets, restaurants and laundry services within 3 blocks. The condo is equipped with a new washer and dryer and the balcony is a great place to relax. This 2nd level condo is quiet and the pool is refreshing and well maintained. Most of the residents in the condo complex have been coming back for several years and usually stay for 3-6 months. The beach and Mamitas Beach Bar is a leisurely 5-7 minute walk. 5th Ave is 4 blocks away and the street that the condo is on is quiet and not subject to a lot of traffic. The property manager is very helpful should you need any information on Playa or any concerns with the condo. The condo owners are very friendly and decorate the condo with beautiful paintings, pictures and ornaments. We have stayed at other places in Playa and this condo is the best."
