  • Had a wonderful stay.

"Everything was as described. It was great to be able to snorkel right out the door. La buena vida was a nightly stop for us. Wonderful fish tacos and atmosphere. Would go back to this place if the world wasn't so big with so many different destinations. Loved the Myan ruins at Coba and cenote dos ojos. Get to them early to avoid the crowds and heat of the day. Thanks Doreen!!!"

  • The magical unit at Casita Blanca

"For the last six winters I have found heaven and haven in a one bedroom unit in the most perfectly sized condo complex in puerto morelos. Casita Blanca is a small community of 18 units, a group of owners and renters who seem to have found a lovely balance of neighbourliness and privacy in a quiet beachfront setting, all beautifully maintained by Cesar who tends the pool and gardens. The unit I rent, which is about to be completely renovated, can sleep 5 with two twin beds and a king in the bedroom and a futon ( or pullout couch) in the living room. It is located within 20 feet of the pool deck ( nice for quiet late evening dips) and has the best view of the sea from ground level that the complex affords. This means early morning snapshots of the sunrise from the living room, beach and pool lounging in seconds from the sliding glass door, and unloading groceries from the Wednesday market without climbing stairs (not to mention a brand new kitchen in a few weeks ). Of course there are the 15 minute slow walks to town for dinner, slower saunters back on the beach watching stars and planets, snorkelling at the Ojo down the beach, the the unico bar next door, flamenco on Saturday nights, the dancing at Serena, the music everywhere, and the Layla guest house lectures on local history and creative writing classes. That is the magic of P.M. well into the spring and summer. But this lovely unit holds its own magic for anyone who chooses to turn the key in the door when they arrive!"

  • Simply Perfect!

"We have never felt more at home on vacation ever! Our vacation started with easy transportation from CUN airport to the ferry thanks to your recommendation of CARM. The Ixchel staff treated us with such kindness and helpfulness from the moment we checked in and throughout our entire stay. They truly treat you like family and would do anything to make your stay happy. As we walked into the condo we were blown away with how every room was clean, comfortable and framed with a beautiful view. The location of the condo was beyond perfect. When you leave the condo to the right you are on the most beautiful and relaxing beach. When you leave the condo to the left your on the main street with the most wonderful restaurants, coffee shops and great shopping. We loved our morning walks to the coffee shop, our mid-morning golf cart drives around the island meeting the locals, our relaxing afternoons by the beach/pool talking with the best Ixchel staff, and ending a great day with delicious food that we still are talking about. I can't forget the hammock :)....our daughter logged some great hours relaxing on the hammock while watching the ocean. Thank you Lewis for making every step of our vacation simply perfect!"

  • College Graduation Celebration!!!

"Beautiful! The condo, resort, beach and pool all delightful. The scenery was gorgeous! Our condo had 3 balconies all ocean views. We were a party of 6 celebrating two of them graduating college. Had a blast! The condo was beautiful and spacious - just lovely. The beds were comfortable and I loved that each room had its own thermostat. :) The beach and water were so clean and pretty... loved swimming in the ocean. We had designated chairs and umbrellas for us to use as part of the resort. A beach house for food and drinks. The pool was clean and spectacular in size. We felt like we had a section of the pool all to ourselves. It was huge!!! The people everywhere were courteous and nice. We had a personal concierge and she was well organized and attentive - thanks Deborah! You were great to work with! The town was quaint and friendly. Lots of restaurants and little shops including a mall a few blocks from us. We enjoyed Joya - highly recommend seeing this. Visited the Rivera Mayan Ruins and Xel-Ha and enjoyed both. There is many things to do or beautiful sceneries to just relax. It had it all. The owner was excellent at responding quickly to any questions. All in all it was a very nice trip."
