  • Thank you for sharing this hidden gem

"We were lucky enough to stay in this condo for a week, and it was absolutely breathtaking. The condo, the town, the people, and the location couldn't be better. There are adventure parks, cenotes, ruins, and shopping within 5-10 minutes of the condo. We really enjoyed the private beach. The beach for this condo was definitely the best in Puerto. The condo was decorated beautifully, and it was everything you'd expect and more. It was very updated and modern. The other guests in our group really enjoyed the plethora of movies and books. It had the feel of a private beach house. The condo opens up to the pool and the ocean, and the breathtaking view will never be forgotten. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for sharing this slice of paradise with us."

  • Amazing

"Our 2nd vacation to Playa this year, it won't be our last. We celebrated New Years there. The condo was super roomy, clean and the location is perfect. The Master has a leather pull out sectional sofa w/chaise as well as King bed that I slept better on than our memory foam mattress at home! The view out the Master bedroom and livingroom/greatroom is ocean front, we saw many amazing sunrises including New Years day which is a tradition, there were hundreds of onlookers watching the sunrise from the beach. The 2nd bedroom has 2 queen beds as well as a sitting area w/sink and vanity in the room and is connected to a bathroom with shower and toilet PLUS a 2nd vanity outside the bathroom and yet another bedroom with a queen bed & vanity w/sink! So there a 2 bathrooms but, 4 vanity's with sinks so everyone can get ready without being on top of each other. Great floor plan. The kitchen is very well equipped and one of the few units in the complex with an oven. There is also a washer/dryer combo. This was the only thing I was not fond of. It is a washer and dryer all in one and it took forever for our towels to dry. The pool area has a swim up bar that serves breakfast (very affordable $4.00 for an omelet) as well as snacks like french fries and fruit plates. The owner Elva, bar tenders, staff, concierge (Maru) and housekeepers go above and beyond to make sure your happy. The pool area was never crowded and we always had lounge chairs. They also offer chairs and umbrellas and beach volleyball on the beach at no additional charge. Walking distance to 5th street and the ferry to Cozumel as well as Senior Frogs on the beach. No need to rent a car. Take advantage of a transfer from the Cancun airport (Maru can arrange this), it is much less expensive and less stressful. We did an excursion to Tulum and Akumal for snorkeling. I enjoyed the Tulum tour and with a guide there were no long lines to wait in... it was a 45 minute tour. Not too long. Akumal was ok. Perfect for our 2 daughters that are novices when it comes to snorkling. We saw turtles but the beach was super crowded, the coral was almost dead from all the tourists (sad) and it is beach entry. You are no longer allowed to wear fins due to the delicate nature of the coral & turtles. If you want a better snorkel trip find one that takes you by boat to a reef that is alive and teaming with fish. Eat at Alux pronounced (Aloosh). $4.00 taxi ride to a underground Cenote restaurant!"

  • absolutely PERFECTO!

"We loved Casa Price. The home was nicely decorated and great access to the nearby beach. It was about a 1 mile walk to town, taking about 20 minutes. Rosa was a godsend. She cooked our breakfasts and prepared lunches that we refrigerated and prepared for dinner on days we were not home for lunch. We had chicken enchiladas, guacamole, pico de gallo, baked fish and veggies, and chicken fajitas. Delicious!! We enjoyed the roof patio for sunbathing and bird watching and loved the little agouti family who lived in our backyard. We had fantastic excursion to Chitzen itza with Happy Shuttle driver, Alejandro Chavira. Ask for him for your tours. We loved talum and seeing turtles at Akumal Bay. I highly recommend staying at casa price when visiting Playa Del Carmen."

  • Wow !!!

"Fantastic Villa!!!! Spectacular location!!!! Wonderful staff!!! Delicious food!!!!! This is all that you want when vacationing!!! I always search for places that have the most reviews. I figure that anyone can have a 5 star rating with only a few reviews but to have a 5 Star Rating with lots of reviews, then you know for sure the place is what they say it is. Casa Caribena has the most reviews in Tulum with T.A. and now I understand why they maintain a 5 STAR RATING!! The villa is spotless with the ladies cleaning every day but quickly and very effectively. They first make breakfast and then while we were eating, they cleaned everything and we never felt like there were there. This is a real plus. We’ve stayed other places where you would always have the staff around. This villa, you feel like you have rented a private villa. The modern décor and very comfortable furniture and beds were wonderful. We had 14 people and ate both outside “alfresco” in front of the Caribbean and also at the dining table; both sat all 14 people comfortably. They just remodeled some bathrooms and some of the bedrooms and they all looked fantastic! We snorkeled directly in front of the villa and saw lots of tropical fish, rays, beautiful coral and sea fans. We kayaked all around the bay and it was so relaxing because there weren’t waves. We could see straight down to the sandy bottom. We also snorkeled at the cenote that was less than a 5 minute walk from the villa. WOW, what a different place that was with crystal clear fresh water (brackish actually) and more of a blue-green color. Had to pay a few dollars but well worth it!!! We went to Coba ruins (30 mins.) other cenotes that I forgot the names of but they are listed in the “Guest book” on the coffee table. We went to Playa del Carmen (30 mins), Xel-Ha (5 mins) and exploring around. There were so many things to do in the immediate area but we wanted to hand around the villa a lot. We were on the beach in the morning, pool mid-day and roof pool in the evenings and nights. The roof pool, and roof living room were my favorite places to hang out! It really was paradise there. I almost forgot to mention the food. ALL of the meals were delicious!!! Lovely presentation and more than we could have eaten. Great leftovers for lunch!!! We’ve stayed at many villas and condos throughout the years and this is by far our favorite. Because we still have so many things to do around there, we’ll go back again next year for sure!"
