  • Beautiful property with extraordinary views!

"This home is as described in its listing. 4 identical bedrooms makes it perfect for couples traveling together. No one feels like they were stuck with the "kids room". More amenities than many other rental homes. Very well supplied kitchen for cooking meals at home. Pool was very clean and in very good shape and used frequently. Loved being at the most southern tip of the island. Golf carts a must. Favorite restaurants: The Joint, Olivia's, and having a meal prepared at home by Javier of Dinnertainment! Our only question was advertised daily housekeeping, she came twice. And daily pool maintenance, he came once when called. We would highly recommend this house if you are planning a trip to Isla Mujeres."

  • Location, location, location! Great value!

"We stayed for 12 days and this condo had absolutely everything we could ask for. We love to cook and the kitchen had everything we needed, including a crockpot, programmable coffeemaker and plenty of pots and pans and utensils. The owners thought of just about everything. Comfy beds and warm showers too. Washer and dryer were very handy and efficient. The property managers were excellent hosts and we arrived to find a gift basket and cold drinks in the refrigerator. Very close to the beautiful beach of Playacar and 5th avenue restaurants, but on a quiet street away from the buzz. Just Perfect! Beautiful rooftop views for your morning coffee. Highly recommend this condo!"

  • Luxury Retreat

"Wow! Let me start by saying that the owner - Martin (Marty) is the most gracious, kind, sincere, thoughtful, and generous "landlord" you could ever hope to find. What a fabulous experience! We travel all over the world and usually stay at high qualityr resorts with restaurants on site with plenty of pool options and concierges at your beckon call for trips and entertainment etc. Let me tell you that Villa Nizuc is of the HIGHEST quality and VERY luxurious. The property has a great pool and the ocean is right out in front of that - a nice fine grain sandy 10 mile streatch of beach. We had fun shopping on the first afternon for our groceries - the markets are really awesome! One is about a 5 minute bus ride and another even bigger one is about a 10 minute bus ride (about 11 pesos (less tha $1US) to go the whole stretch). We took a cab back with our bags about $5US. Marty has a top of the line 6 burner gas stove and a large refridgerator. Marty has a property manager named Roberto who is awesome! Very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable who will make sure all your comfort needs are met and that the property exceeds your expectations. We will definately look for this property on our next Cancun trip! Great job Marty et al!"

  • Nice Property -- remote location

"The unit that we rented was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. We were especially very happy with the ocean view and the large closets. The beach was fantastic, as was the pool. It could have been a perfect week. However, we were not prepared for how remote we were. There is nothing within walking distance; not even a bus stop. No groceries, no ATM, literally nothing. With five people, we spent $50/day on taxi fare getting into town for meals, groceries, etc. I would highly recommend renting a car. Also, there were little annoyances with the appliances. The washer/dryer combo came with no instructions, the iron did not work, nor the blender. There is really no assistance, you're basically on your own. We checked-in on Saturday and did not see a representative until Monday. Even calling a cab could be a pain, because we needed a 5-passenger and even with Spanish speakers in our group it often required a 20-minute delay when the wrong car would first appear. TIP -- if you have them purchase groceries for you in advance be prepared to pay in cash. We didn't expect that and so were nearly out of cash one day after arrival! And if you buy groceries, go to the Mega and NOT the WalMart. We have a 50-minute line at WalMart when we bought groceries. Mind you, if we had known these things in advance it could have been a very good trip. We would have brought much more cash, we would have checked all the appliances the first day and resolved the issues immediately rather than constantly discover problems at the last second, and we would have been mentally prepared for being on our own with no service desk to assist. If we had been prepared we would have been able to concentrate on the beautiful beach and surroundings."
