  • loved it and exactly as the pictures show

"We truly enjoyed our 2 week stay in the condo. Perfect if looking for a quiet relaxing time. The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of dishes and pots & pans. The bathroom had plenty of towels but just be sure to bring your own soap, shampoo, etc. The bed was the most comfortable that have slept in Mexico. The unit was very clean and nicely furnished. The patio was large and enjoyed sitting outside watching the sunrise and sunset. Suzanne was a delight to meet and even brought us a couple plastic wine glasses for our use. The large Mega store is a nice walk down the beach and cab back. Zipper and Mama Mia restaurants are close and excellent food! The thing missing was there was no BBQ outside so had to cook our meals inside. Every Friday a older man comes by the pool to sell very fresh seafood of prawns, lobster, scallops, and tuna."

  • Great location, decent apartment

"If you like to walk, this apartment is in a terrific location: walking distance (within 10 blocks) of Santo Domingo church and the Alcala shopping street, lovely El Llano park (where there's always something going on), the Becari language school (if you want to brush up on your Spanish), and many restaurants. There's a cheap breakfast place at the end of the street, and some good local eateries (such as El Biche Pobre and Tipico) toward the park as well as behind La Merced markat. There's also a fantastic new playground near the baseball stadium, which our toddler adored. Ricardo was very helpful, letting us check in early, keeping us stocked with jugs of drinking water, providing directions to the nearest laundromat, and arranging a taxi to our next destination. He lives on the top floor of the three-story house, so he's easy to get hold of if anything comes up. The apartment met our needs, and the hammock was a great bonus. The only negatives are that the apartment feels smaller and darker than it looks in the pictures and isn't as clean as one might like. The cleaners (who came once during our stay) don't do a very good job: They leave hair and dirt on the floors, dust on the tables, and grime in the corners of the showers. That might not bother some people, but if you're a clean freak, this isn't the place for you. With residents above and below the apartment and other houses close by, the place can also get noisy. But in my experience, that's true anywhere in the city."

  • The Perfect Relaxing Getaway to Cozumello

"My husband and I spent our first vacation without the kids in this beautiful condo just steps away from the ocean. We loved reading the day away while lounging on the patio. It was the perfect relaxing vacation. Veronica is a joy and an awesome cook. We also enjoyed going into town, talking with the locals who are so friendly, and touring the island. The condo is fully stocked with everything you need to maximize your stay. The beauty of the ocean, the incredible condo, and the friendly island atmosphere made Cozumello the perfect getaway. It was a slice of heaven!"

  • Loved My Stay in La Gaviota!

"I just spent 5 weeks staying at condo La Gaviota in Villa Blance, First of all, the owner Sarah was very easy to work with and our transactions went completely smooth. When I arrived, the manager Jose helped take my luggage up to the condo and explained everything. I met the housekeeper Angelina early on and she kept things tidy and towels replenished when needed. She also secured an iron for me to have in the condo. Although I did no cooking while there, I was impressed at how thoroughly outfitted the kitchen was. Anything and everything one might need seemed to be there. There was a fullsize frig/freezer and stove with oven, blender, coffee pot, toaster, toaster oven, microwave and a full array of pots and pans, cutlery, dishes, glassware and flatware. Bottled water was provided to the condo and replaced when needed. Ceiling fans in the living area and bedroom kept the air circulated and a/c in the bedroom helped cool things off on the hotter days. There was a kingsize platform bed and firm, just like I like it. Adequate drawer and hanging space and a built-in safety deposit box took care of everything I needed. The bathroom had a roomy shower and certainly met my needs. The small waist-high pool was refreshing with coming in from a hot day on the beach and the little terrace pleasant for hanging out or sunning. The beach clubs I like to go to were just minutes away and the location walkable to all over the south side. I would definitely stay at La Gaviota again!"
