  • Beautiful Casa La Via

"Our family of 12 just returned from Casa La Via after a 4 night stay and we had a terrific time. The house is beautiful and the accommodations were perfect for us. The owners were very responsive and attentive to any questions we had, although all needed information was given to us prior to our arrival or was available in various printed materials in the house. All of the on site staff were very gracious and helpful. Casa La Via is in a guarded and gated resort area and centrally located, with easy access to several beautiful beaches and other numerous sightseeing venues. Our only regret is that our stay was too short. I can, without reservation. highly recommend Casa La Via as a destination property. My hope is that we will have the opportunity to return."

  • Great Time In Puerto Morelos

"Our vacation began in Playa Del Carmen with 6 of our friends the week before we came to Palma Real. They all still work and could only get away for a week and we wanted to stay longer but somewhere new to us. Having never been to Puerto Morelos and not knowing if we would like the area I booked the condo for 2 weeks. Big mistake!! I should have taken it for a month! Puerto Morelos is now my new favorite place! The condo was comfortable and had everything we needed. Didn't take long to settle into a daily routine. We met friendly people around the pool, both owners and vacationers, that gave us tips on where to eat and what to check out. Most afternoons everyone gathered around the pool for beverages and chat time. The first walk into town going around the port was interesting to say the least but we never felt threatened. We went into town almost every evening for dinner because we wanted to try all the small "hole in the wall" eateries we saw! The food was so good and very reasonable, so why cook! We only had 1 dinner that was just ok. If it was just the 2 of us we took a taxi back, if we went with people we met at the condo, we walked back together. Just bring a little flashlight or use your phone flashlight, cause the road behind the port is bumpy! Sometimes we went into town twice a day, if we went for breakfast or to the little market for grocery items. The taxis are plentiful but negotiate the price before getting in. It's different every time! After running around on numerous excursions in PDC the week before, it was nice to just chill by the pool and go for beach walks. The only downside in the condo location is that you can't walk the beach north to town. We did walk south past the Caribbean Reef condos and El-Cid all inclusive to the marina. In front of those places the beaches are raked and nice. Where there are open areas or where nothing is built there is sargassum grass that's washed ashore along with assorted plastic bottles and junk. At Palma Real, Gustavo keeps the beach nice. The owner of the condo, Eric, was a pleasure to work with and promptly answered any email questions I had. The property management, Mayan Riviera Properties, was just as responsive to any problems at the condo. We stopped at their office while in town one morning and reported a couple small things that needed to be fixed and they were there that afternoon to make repairs! We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back to PM and Palma Real!"

  • Romantic, Family Friendly, This Place Has It All

"We traveled to Playa del Carmen as a family of six, grandparents in our sixties, children in their thirties and grandchildren seven and three. Gillian's beautiful condo accommodated us all perfectly. The condo is visually stunning, three large bedrooms, one on the first floor and two on the second and three full bathrooms. The layout meant that we could be together and still have privacy when we wanted a little alone time. The kitchen had everything we needed and although we loved going out to sample the wonderful food we also enjoyed shopping at the Mega, a short cab ride away, and making our own feasts. The dining room fit us all easily and there were plenty of dishes. There was a blender so we could make frozen drinks which we then took out to the amazing patio that faces a private, bird watchers paradise. Each day we identified new birds and our grandchildren also loved watching for the coatis, small furry animals, that passed through several times a day. The pool was clean and large enough to swim in or just to lay on a tube and soak up the sun. A short walk from the condo brought us to a white sand beach that was perfect for walking, sitting or splashing in the waves. The condo came with beach chairs, umbrella and cooler - everything we could want to enjoy the spectacular view. It was also a short walk into Playa which we did frequently. Gillian was so helpful in answering all our questions before we left and Chris, the condo manager, was helpful while we were in Mexico. Playa itself was a lovely place to visit. It felt very safe, it was easy to get around both on foot and using taxis - we never felt the need for a car. The food was excellent from the cheap and tasty tacos directly across the street from the Mega grocery store to the more upscale options along 5th Avenue, a pedestrian shopping and eating area closed to vehicles for many, many blocks. We've been to a number of places in Mexico but this was our first time in Playa. We will be back."

  • Casa cereza makes holbox

"Come to holbox for the beach and the charming village town. Stay because case cereza and Sabina make your vacation memorable. Love the fresh juices and quail eggs for breakfast, the fresh baked bread and jam, the lovely garden surrounding the house and the beach is footsteps away. The house is well equipped, spacious and has great breezes and fresh air to keep you cool. The four of us (two teenagers) had a great stay over Christmas and enjoyed renting bikes, a boat tour to the islands and dinners in town. Sabina took great care of us!"
