  • Exactly as promised...

"Staying at this condo was perfect. It is exactly as promised. The condo, complex and entire community are very clean and safe. We loved our stay here. Sol was very helpful. We had some issues with the TV, and she immediately dealt with them. The pool is "refreshing", but being Canadian we enjoyed it. The beach, restaurants, shops and grocery store are all an easy walk. If we were heading to this area again, we would rebook."

  • Marvellous Mexican house.

"My wife and I had a fabulous time at the beautiful colonial home “Casa Armadillo”. We visited Merida to see the sights and explore the culture as well as to practice our Spanish. The house was really fantastic– an expansive, authentic Mexican home with a pool, casita (small house at the end of the garden), a wonderful large dining room and everything a visitor could possibly need (from coffee machine to washing machine). The house even has a mango tree and we ate champagne mangos every day. One of the great things about Casa Armadillo is its location, right next to the famous Passeo Montejo, the main historic avenue for the whole of Merida. Because of its central location we were able to visit many of the Mayan cultural sites, not to mention some of the best bars, restaurants and music venues (including the famous ‘bar Negrita’, Mercado 60 and the classical music Theatre Peon) – all within easy walking distance, so no need for a car. The neighbourhood (Centro) is very safe and friendly with many interesting squares, free evening (traditional) outdoor entertainment. Merida is a great city and the house was fantastic, perfect for us. We will definitely be coming back! Highly recommended!!"

  • Wonderful place very near town and beach

"The perfect place to ride your quad out the back and onto the sand and into town and beach! The house was very updated and attractive and was very well equipped with anything you need. Just bring beach towels and maybe a few extra bath towels if you like extra towels. Plenty big enough for the 2 of us. There is a comfortable futon in the living room for family or another couple. And 2 full bathrooms as well. The place has lots of extras like books and dvds. They pretty much thought of everything. At first we were concerned with the heavy security doors and windows, but soon realized we were perfectly safe there and would stay there again for the convenience of getting into town."

  • Beautiful Yal-Ku Lagoon

"We spent a lovely week at Casa Bella February 2017. I expected it to be nice after reviewing the online photos, and it did not disappoint. The house is large, with beautiful views of the lagoon. The private access is not entirely private as there is a flow of foot traffic, but very nice to simply walk out the path to snorkle! We saw schools of colorful fish and even turtles in Yal-Ku Lagoon. The staff from Green Eyes Property Management were wonderful. They came by and offered information, provided maps, maid services, and a golf cart that was a problem solver as parking was difficult at times."
