So cozy and comfortable. First time to the area and will be back for sure. Thanks to Linda for making the check in so convenient. Words don't describe the beauty of this property.

This last trip—I come every year for my birthday—was my longest stay ever. I thought I’d be satisfied, but as usual, 17 days flashed by. I feel so at home & welcome here, especially because Cheri & Peter are so helpful and kind. Very comfortable & blessedly quiet, a kitchen I can cook in, a TV that gets the NHL, an old-fashioned heated recliner there when you need it, perfect location so you only really need your car for trips to Ft. Bragg & the Mendocino Botanical Gardens. And finally, the magic sound of the buouy & the ocean in the dark of night, better than any sleeping aid. What more can I say?

This setting was so mesmerizing, and the property so peaceful, I had a hard time leaving to go do the activities I'd had planned. This is a perfect place to hole up and just breathe, or cozy up with someone special. You're only a couple of miles from the town of Mendocino and 10 or 15 minutes from dozens of hikes in woods, on bluffs, or on quiet beaches. Small kitchen is well stocked, bed and linens are very comfortable, and you'll spend hours on that large lovely deck overlooking the forest. If you're sensitive to light as a sleeper, bring a sleep mask. I highly recommend this property and look forward to coming back!

We were looking for an ideal place to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We found this gem, the pics are nice, but the experience of driving up to the place was something you have to experience to fully understand how breath taking view Dan and Laura have. When you open the door, you get hit with a great view of the ocean and Mendocino town from afar, we loved our stay and plan to return. Thank you both for letting us enjoy your beautiful place. My boyfriend and I came to Mendicino to relax and unwind from stressful jobs. I am a nurse and just the sound of the waves crashing was relaxing. The place was super comfortable, only add I could see being better would have been an outdoor hot tub.

Very clean and well-decorated. In a secluded and beautiful area. Very easy check-in and check-out process. Very close to town.

We enjoyed our stay. They provided all we needed! The only downside for us was that the bedroom was upstairs and there is no upstairs bathroom. Not a problem for the young, but harder for us older folks.
