St. Marks oceanfront rentals

We drive a little further down the coast for the privacy and serenity that Alligator Point offers. “Tucked Away” was the perfect getaway for that. Loved the shade of the pines and the proximity to the beach. My only wish is that one of the bedrooms offered a king size bed. Would definitely rent again!

Our family truly enjoy our stay at the property. Very clean, cozy, and comfortable, with a lot of thoughtful details in the house. Owner always communicates and responds promptly. Beautiful bay at the backyard and great private beach across the street.

We wanted to try something different this year than the usual tourist spots at the beech. We all loved the house! With 4 teenagers they took advantage of all the toys; paddle boards, kayaks, bikes. They caught crabs in the cages provided & enjoyed the fire pit several nights. My 6 year old grandson loved the sand toys provided. We all loved hanging out on the balcony & underneath to stay cool. There was everything you needed to cook & we had lots of room to spread out. We did see dolphins. The views were beautiful. We loved having our very own private beech. The area is very isolated & the grocery is some distance away. Most of the restaurants were closed from Sunday until Wednesday. No one missed tourist traps of miniature golf, etc. We did miss cleaning up & going out for a nice meal in the evening. Overall we loved our stay.

Very cute. Perfect for those of us getting older. All on ground level. And grab bars in the shower.

This little cottage was absolutely perfect!! We stayed for the Labor Day weekend. Our 7 and 12 year olds really enjoyed being waterfront. They were able to play while we cooked & just sat on the back porch to relax. There is a great walking path along side the road too. Perfect for our children to ride their bike & rollerblades. Definitely recommend this little cottage!

There's not enough stars to give this Beautiful Beach Cottage! We were there 3 days & had to evacuate for the Cat 3 Hurricane. We left & came back in a couple days to finish our 2 week trip( with a couple extra days on Wendy)!! Wendy was the absolute best host we've ever dealt with in a rental. Everything was so Beautiful & Cozy. If possible, I'd give Wendy & the Beach Cottage 10 stars!! If you're looking then start booking! Will not be disappointed! We will definitely be back !!

This rental is perfect if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle! Nice quiet beach house with great views. It’s everything expected from the website. Highly recommend visiting Shifting Sands!!
