If you are looking for a clean, comfortable and well-appointed place to stay in a great location, this is the place for you! The owners are lovely and informative. This was by far our best VRBO experience.

Perfect size for two people with everything you need, including a washer and dryer! Five minute easy walk to everything downtown and so many restaurants steps away, we didn’t drive at all once we parked. The entrance is up a set of stairs on a shared deck, which was fine for us but folks with limited mobility might find it hard. Nice view of the harbor from the deck too! The one downside were the shared walls with the rental unit next door; there were little kids running and crying in the mornings, but that’s not the property’s fault and could happen anywhere. Maybe just be prepared with some earplugs if you’re worried about neighbor noise :)

Had a great time, location good even for a person needing a cane for walking. Furniture in LR only OK for sitting, the futon is extremely uncomfortable for a place to sit. Difficulty in finding place, I'd be more apt to say, look for 'parking area' or at least mentioning that, we thought that was for 'pay to park' not where we'd find entrance into VRBO--likewise the person upstairs felt the same he knocked on front door to find where to go... I'd provide a 'warm blanket' in case nights get chilly as did for us, thank heavens i had a car blanket or we'd have been very chilly. ALL was good, and would recommend. Thanks for the stay.

Every little detail is that through at this cabin in the woods. Other than a lack of suitcase storage, there was nothing that we couldn’t find that we needed. It’s charming, cozy in the rain, and an easy walk to town. We also loved the bay beach area at the bottom of the hill.

My family had a great stay at Deer Creek Cabin, nestled in the little Sprucewold neighborhood of Boothbay Harbor. It suited our needs perfectly—a master bedroom for me & husband; a cute loft with two beds for my 12 & 15 year olds; & a futon-style couch for my 17 yr old. Perhaps most importantly, we were permitted to bring our (very well-behaved, clean, non-destructive!) dog with us, who seemed to love the cabin & property as much as we did! Leslie & Laura were top hosts, greeting us upon arrival & then later checking in on our needs. They really thought of everything, which was great. A fully equipped kitchen, linens & towels, washer & dryer (huge when traveling with kids!) & for those rainy nights, Netflix. They also made sure our dog had food/water bowls & left a little goody bag for her, which was very considerate! We enjoyed the solitude of the property, yet appreciated that we were a three minute drive to the village center. We also took a nice, easy hike, located just up the road. It really is the best of both worlds. You can go explore the cute shops & restaurants of Boothbay, but go retire to the woods, away from the hustle & bustle. We also had access to the private beach, which was nice. I’d like to thank Laura & Leslie for making it affordable. All too often, a family trip can be cost prohibitive. This was top lodging, & suitable for family budgets. Do not hesitate to rent this cozy little cabin. It’s probably even more appealing in the fall foliage!
