Placencia pet-friendly rentals

Our stay at Kairos Villa in Placencia was nothing short of extraordinary. Traveling as a group of seven, we were looking for a place that combined comfort, luxury, and a great location—and Kairos Villa exceeded every expectation. The property itself is stunning, with beautifully designed interiors, modern kitchen and bathroom amenities, and breathtaking views from every room. We especially loved the outdoor spaces—the pool, hot tub, and multiple dining areas made it easy to relax and enjoy time together. The added touches like bikes, a pool table, and a golf cart made exploring and entertaining effortless. What truly elevated our experience was the exceptional team. Mr. Elver Franco, Ms. Alva, and Salvador provided outstanding service throughout our stay. Their kindness, attention to detail, and dedication to making our trip special did not go unnoticed—they made us feel genuinely cared for every single day. Kairos Villa strikes the perfect balance between luxury and comfort, creating a welcoming and memorable atmosphere. This was easily one of the best group vacations we’ve ever had, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly, highly recommended!

We had the most amazing time at South Gull. The home is absolutely beautiful and perfectly suited for a group vacation. The home had every comfort we needed and more. The staff was incredible; kind and accommodating. Erica maintained constant communication with us leading up to and during our stay to ensure travel logistics, grocery orders, excursion planning, dinner reservations and more. Carlos was on-site every day making sure we had everything we needed and was a delight to visit with! Maria went above and beyond every day to keep our space clean and organized. Our chef Kenton created three delicious meals - including dessert - handling everything from groceries to meal prep to clean up. It was such a treat! It was by far the most spoiled we've ever been on a vacation. We had so much fun exploring the peninsula on the golf cart, enjoyed a few meals out, and had plenty of time to just relax in the pool. The morning sunrises cannot be beat. We loved South Gull - it was the perfect home away from home in beautiful Belize.

Staff were amazing! Everyone took care of everything we needed and were so friendly. Group of 8 (four couples) stayed for 8 nights. Villa had everything we needed, might have been nice to be a bit closer to the main village but couple restaurants are within walking distance of Villa and had two golf carts that we used to go to and from village. Sounds from first floor travels up to second floor rooms as all tile floors. Kitchen was good size with everything we needed, including ice machine. Good outdoor sitting areas and pool was great. Only downside was no shade in pool, would have been nice to have umbrellas we could put at edge of pool or a corner with a sun shade for heat of day.

From the planning to our actual time in Belize, Gecko was amazing. The staff could have not been more friendly, professional, or amazing than they were. Our chef, Omar, was absolutely amazing and cooked us the most amazing food. I did not want to go home to eat crap in the States, lol, his food was so amazing! Our housekeeper, Elda, was so helpful and kept the condo superior the entire time of our stay. I would defiantly use Gecko again for my future Belize trips.

We stayed at Shadow Sands and it was more than we expected. There were 7 of us and there was more than enough room for us. We had such a great time and the staff went above and beyond. The food Cara made was amazing!!! Stop in at Omar’s for lobster and drinks. We enjoyed the appetizers and drinks at the Yacht Cub and shopping in Placencia was nice. Jazz and Abner answered our every question and were the best!!!! We hope to come back and for sure would stay at Shadow Sands again. Until next time, Nebraska Girls.

We had a fantastic time staying at Sunset Gecko. The condo was very comfy and service was spectacular. The building is close enough to restaurants to walk but far enough away to avoid the noise. I only wish somebody would fix the potholes and bumps in the road.

The property was fantastic and Jose, Julia and the entire staff were amazing, as a matter of fact we have already booked another stay for September.

We spent 4 days on Kanu as part of the surf and turf promotion. There were 6 of us celebrating a 20th anniversary. The only way to describe this island is magical. Everything was clean and well taken care of, the island is stunning, the creatures were fun to see, plenty of activities for all. And THE STAFF! They should write a book on how it’s done. Every detail and need was tended to. Jesse (sp) prepared the most delicious and beautifully presented meals. Anna and Nick took very good care of serving us and getting everything we could want taken care of. Patti was one of the best massage therapists we have had and simply spoiled us rotten. Cory took care of boating us around and teaching is to fish. And Pete was sure everything was in working order and on point! Literally not a detail overlooked. We will definitely be back!!
