Higgins Beach pet-friendly rentals

This property is so beautiful!! Great location to explore tons of places. Picturesque and peaceful is an understatement! The bedroom is like being in the clouds surrounded by an Apple tree and a beautiful backyard! Wall to wall windows allow you to view the night sky and the moon! The dogs and the geese are also a plus with their adorable greetings! Brian was a great host! Thank you for everything! Rob & Jill

Everything was great! Bed was super comfy! The whole place was so clean and nicely decorated. Great backyard space for our dog to roam and the firepit was so fun!

I stayed with my family at this property for six weeks this summer. It's got a great location being close to Portland, and is also close to the beaches of Cape Elizabeth. The private beach down the block is lovely to walk to and makes for a great place to enjoy the sunset. In July/August, we were able to swim in the water. It was cold, but refreshing! The house is as advertised. Four stories with great views and large decks. Plenty of rooms and a large living area. The beds were comfortable -- not too hard, not too soft. The property manager was also responsive and friendly. 5 stars!

This is the 3rd time my wife and I have stayed here. Fantastic location with the beach ~100 feet away and Portland a ten minute drive. Brenda is the perfect host. Can’t wait to come back next year.

Bedroom for me was a bit claustrophobic because I was the one against the wall. No easy exit from bed. My boyfriend had trouble sleeping and I didn’t want to wake him IF he was sleeping. Suggestion remove night table and lamp can put everything on bureau. Be perfect for a couple not for us because we had 2 large dogs with us. Lots of walking, great location, Good Thyme restr was the best breakfast restr and JJs was where we had the best dinner on outside patio. The fudge was to die for in fact I went bk the next day. Anyone going that loves candy go to Dickinson candy factory.
