Adirondack pet-friendly rentals

Beautiful house! My family and I enjoyed our stay! House was fully stocked with everything you would need! The entire holiday weekend was cold and rainy but we still enjoyed ourselves! We used the hot tub a lot and the heated pool on the first day! The pool was cold on the other 3 days :( But overall we had a great time!

This location could not have been better for us - our only complaint is that we had to leave! It's called Beaver Pond, but down here in Virginia it would definitely be called a lake. We really enjoyed the easy access to the kayaks and canoe, saw a beaver, fished and caught small mouth bass, yellow perch, and even a pickerel! There are no more cabins past us at that end of the lake, so it felt like we had the serenity to ourselves. The cabin was very accommodating and clean, and after being there for 5 days we still kept discovering fascinating eclectic decor and artifacts on display that we hadn't noticed before. We were visiting our daughter, who is a student at Word of Life Bible Institute, which was about a 16-minute drive away. FYI, our cell phone service didn't work well enough to make calls on its own, but we were able to do wifi calling using the cabin's wifi, which was reliable. We would love to stay here again.

The home is very clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is very nice and quite. Everyone in the area were so friendly where ever I went. It was very easy to communicate with the owner. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The beds are comfortable.we were very pleased with this rental, 5 stars definitely! There is a general store close by that has a small selection of groceries. The store also makes breakfast sandwiches and very good subs. I did my grocery shopping at Price Chopper, which is about 20 miles away.

We have stayed here for four years in a row, and we always have a phenomenal time. The house is spectacular! Thank you for letting our family make memories year after year ❤️

What a beautiful place to stay! We loved everything about the colorful & comfortable “Bossie” cabin, from its mountaintop view (fabulous location) to all the thoughtful amenities inside (like lots of hooks on the walls for hanging clothes — so practical!) The cabin was very clean & well-stocked; it had good pans, dishes, silverware, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. — the only things not provided that we needed were a dish towel, a hand towel in bathroom or any wash cloths in the bathroom, but the hosts provided good-quality bath towels, so we used those for drying our hands in the bathroom and luckily we brought our own dish towel so we had one. If you’re planning to stay here, maybe bring a few washcloths & hand towels. Not a big deal for us — especially since everything else was so perfect! The beds were comfortable, the linens were clean, and we loved every minute we spent here. It was warm during our stay, but we were able to open up the windows (excellent screens, so no bugs got in!) and get a cool breeze. There’s also a ceiling fan over the main bed, which helped cool the cabin. The reading nook/alcove is a wonderful bonus! We had some rainy weather, too, and it was so relaxing to sit in the comfy reading nook and hear the rain on the metal roof. We were very grateful that the cabin is dog-friendly; I walked my dog down the gravel/sand road every day. The other cabins are nearby but sit enough apart that you get good privacy. We loved staying here & highly recommend it!
