Gold Beach pet-friendly rentals

Love everything about this place, it’s perfect for a one person getaway. Deck overlooking the river, so very clean, great atmosphere, J was an amazing host. Lord willing, I will be back next year. If I lived closer, I would come for a few often!

Charming, great ocean views, access to wide, very long, sandy beach. Clean, nicely decorated, well-furnished, well-equipped. Nice deck. Good-sized TV in living room with DVR. Living room has both an electric "fireplace" and a "wood"-burning fireplace with insert (Presto logs only). Master bedroom has a small but well-positioned TV. Internet access was fine. Ocean views from all rooms except second bedroom. Plenty of appliances, dishes, pots, pans, accessories, etc. in the kitchen. Some showing the expected moderate wear and tear of less-than-careful prior renters over the years. All usable. Dishes better quality than they often are. 6-seat dining table off the kitchen with ocean views. We only used the master bedroom, which had a comfortable bed. Somewhat close to a couple neighbors, at least one had freely-roaming dogs at times, not an issue for us. No garage or carport, you park on gravel at the end of a shared gravel driveway. I would rate as 4.8 stars (out of 5), but since they don't allow fractions, I'm quite fine with rating it as a 5. Accessibility: Boardwalk to the beach, but steps to get to it, and it ends with a short slightly difficult climb down to the beach. Someone with significant mobility issues may not make it onto the beach. 4 levels. 1.5 steps up from kitchen to main living area, another step up to master bedroom, a further step up to master bathroom. Exterior door into the kitchen level, and another into the main level. No steps at either door.

We just loved our stay and have only positive things to say. The property is beautiful and private. The pictures really can't do justice to the views. Out the kitchen, Dining and Living rooms you can see both down into a valley with a creek running through it and beyond that the ocean. Daily we saw large and small birds flying by at eye level often carrying fish from the ocean. We even saw a few Eagles! The front of the house faces the trees and daily we saw Deer, Quail, chipmunks, Blue Jays and once a fox! The deer come by often to graze and you can feed them some food provided by the hosts. As for the practical things the house was very clean and nicely furnished. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need to cook with and some extra appliances that you may not expect like a Panini Press, dual coffee pot with carafe/Kcups, Ninja blender ect. The pans were so nice (Cuisinart) I am considering getting some for myself! There is plenty of storage areas for your things and wall hooks. There are 2 Smart TV's one in the Primary bedroom and another in the "tv room". The hot tub was amazing, clean and has a beautiful view. I found it really helped ease my muscles after hiking. If you like hiking there are so many beautiful places along the Samuel Boardman Corridor. The owners are lovely people that responded quickly to us and clearly care for the property and tenants comfort. Enough said Nature Lovers...Just go!

This house was far better than the pictures made it look. Very clean, plenty of room and location couldn't be much better! Will definitely be considering this stay again!

This cottage of character provide us a quiet refuse to rest, talk, smile and hold each other as the world seem to be going mad. The vintage wood, sprial stairs with carved railing and high ceilings were an example of a period long ago. Cuddling by the wood insert in the foreplace in a blanket with herbal tea, sharing the grear adventures of 52 years of marriage, military career, law enforcement career, raising our children and being grandparents. Planning for what life's goals will be with leukemia and where do we go next. Wonderful opportunity to reminisce and be thankful.

We have stayed at this property many times and every time has been great. We love everything about this property.
