Property was even better than portrayed in the pictures! Attention to detail including supplying things we might possibly need was the best we have experienced. We could not have asked for more. I even got some excellent photos of the F/A -18’s returning to Norfolk base. Our boy Simon appreciated his patch of grass as well. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

The cottage is a treasure and the island is beautiful. Wonderful views of herons and other wildlife always outside the back windows! Our family of six (including four teenage boys) stayed comfortably at the house. It felt like borrowing a friend's well-stocked vacation home. Plenty of kitchen gear and dishes for cooking (which we used several nights). Things to consider: to access the Gloucester Point area, you must cross a draw bridge. It is a cool bridge to cross, but every time you go into Gloucester, you must pay a 2 toll. Also, you can be delayed if a ship is crossing. We had to wait 15-20 minutes one morning on our way to Williamsburg. Also, the property is well-decorated and cozy, but not brand new, and has a few quirks. We had some small ants in the kitchen, but the hosts had some bait traps out. Overall, I would highly recommend this unique stay if you are coming to the area!

The listing was great and the property manager was extremely helpful with any issues. All amenities necessary were available and the space was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

This is our second time staying at the Pink House. It is very clean and comfortable. The beds are soft and the host provides beautiful fresh flowers and snacks! It’s walking distance to the beach and to local restaurants. Plus, if you enjoy beautiful gardens you’re in for a treat! The yard is small but packed with a variety of gorgeous plants- a little oasis!

The suite was clean and roomy. Very comfortable and close to many restaurants and major highways that makes it easy to get to anywhere in the area.

Our family of 4 stayed for a long weekend, everything from booking thru checkout was exceptional. The home was very clean and accommodating, and communication was wonderful throughout our experience. Our family is already looking forward to booking another getaway here in the near future.
