Beautiful property, beautiful house, great experience!

We had a great time staying at this home in Fairplay during prime leaf peeping season. Suzanne was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed for the stay. She even left us and our pup some local goodies to have! It was easy to get to local hiking trails and about a 13 minute drive into downtown Fairplay. We would definitely stay again!

The cabin was one of the best that we have stayed in so far. It was beautiful, clean, cozy and and at the same time roomy for 10 people. The location couldn't be more perfect. It was surrounded by snow covered pine trees and overlooked the snow capped mountains, perfect for a winter holiday in the Colorado mountains.Cassandra, our host, was super responsive and shared all the info we needed prior to our trip. Can't thank her enough for making our stay cozy and comfortable.The cabin had all that we needed for our big group, which made our vacation in the mountains a memorable one. If we get another chance we wouldn't definitely return.

This is my second time here and I absolutely love this place. It is the perfect spot for a quiet family getaway. The beds are so comfy, the host has provided everything you need for cooking in and also has provided fun family games. Our kids had so much fun sledding in the yard and we were close to skiing at monarch ski resort. We had an amazing weekend. Thank you!!!!

We rented Horizon Ridge northwest of Fairplay for 9 nights in late September 2024. Our experience was great. The house was as described. They provided all the information needed on a timely basis. They checked in with us during our stay to see if we needed anything. I can't think of anything else they could have done to make our stay more pleasant. The views were exceptional. The house was way more than we needed of course but it was great having so much room. I'm not sure how the location, property and experience could have been better.

What a beautiful property and close to so many fun things: Breck, Buena Vista, Cottonwood Pass to Crested Butte, St Elmo, etc. Green Door has everything you need to feel right at home! We even enjoyed putting together one of the puzzles. Do recommend getting groceries somewhere other than Fairplay!!

Waking up and having coffee and looking at the view from the cabin was incredible. Great reset mentally. I will love to own a place like.this to spend weekends. Close from Denver but far enough to experience mountain cabin life. We enjoyed seeing the snow storm giving amazing views... Thank you Phil... Snow plow Angel.

The things we liked about this place were- owners were accessible and welcoming, remote location, amenities, comfortable beds, 2 decks, some great hiking trails and 13/14ers nearby, and it’s a quiet area. We will definitely look to rent this place when we return to the area! Next year, we will hopefully have our dog trained to go up steps or a ramp into our truck and bring him along. Thank you for opening up your home to us!
