  • Excellent Stay - Exceptional host

"Our family stayed here for 6 days, San Telmo was a great location for my family. The apartment was spacious and well furnished and stocked. Ruben, our host, met us early in the morning to let us in, he gave us a great explanation of places to visit, eat, shop, etc. Even gave us his personal number in case we needed anything. The location of the apartment was 2 blocks away from the historic Mercado de San Telmo, where we purchased our daily breakfast of Medialunas, pastries and freshly baked bread, in addition to fresh fruits from the local stands. There is also a comercial supermarket (Dia %), where we also did some shopping. Bus stops were litterally 1 to 2 blocks away, which we used almost daily to get us to Recoleta, Palermo, Retiro and other parts of the city. The historic, 100 year old, four bedrooms and 2 baths were enough room for all five of us ( 2 adults and 18, 15 and 11 year olds). The area was safe and well lit, plenty of good shops, restaurants, cafes. The washing machine was easy to use and for families that don't speak spanish, there were plenty of english channels on the Direct TV Program List. On our checkout day, Ruben met us at the apartment and to see us off. Luckily he was to there to assist us, our Reserved taxi did not show and he helped us get 2 taxi's and even was able to exchange enough pesos for us to pay our taxi's to the airport, a true lifesaver. We looked at quite a few rental apartments and we definitely made the right choice."

  • Wonderful Location for Travelers!

"The apartment was just as the pictures show. It was all updated with wood floors. It was nice to come home to a secure building in a cheerful, clean apartment. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice and hot. The neighborhood was safe and very convenient to stores, restaurants, buses or cabs. We did quite abit of walking and enjoyed seeing the sights. For money exchange, skip the bank's unless you have an account at one. Go to Recoleta Mall, (a nice walk about 8 blocks) to the 3rd floor to the money exchange Kiosk. Be sure to take your passport. There is a lot to see in BA so besure to do your homework before going. We enjoyed our visit. Having good clean lodging made the stay very comfortable. I would highly recommend this apartment. Sebastian was very easy to deal with and offers a great place to stay away from home!"
