  • Wonderful Location for Travelers!

"The apartment was just as the pictures show. It was all updated with wood floors. It was nice to come home to a secure building in a cheerful, clean apartment. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice and hot. The neighborhood was safe and very convenient to stores, restaurants, buses or cabs. We did quite abit of walking and enjoyed seeing the sights. For money exchange, skip the bank's unless you have an account at one. Go to Recoleta Mall, (a nice walk about 8 blocks) to the 3rd floor to the money exchange Kiosk. Be sure to take your passport. There is a lot to see in BA so besure to do your homework before going. We enjoyed our visit. Having good clean lodging made the stay very comfortable. I would highly recommend this apartment. Sebastian was very easy to deal with and offers a great place to stay away from home!"

  • Beautiful property in the heart of Buenos Aires (Recoleta neighborhood)

"I highly recommend this property! My husband and I, along with both sets of our parents (6 adults) stayed at this property from November 10th-13th. Prior to us traveling down to Buenos Aires, the property owner, Mila, spoke with me several times to ensure we had good expectations of the property; as well as, give us travel advice. She was very responsive, kind and helpful. Martin, property manager, set up a private van to pick us up from the airport (EZE) and drop us off at the property. The private driver awaited us at the airport and took us directly to the property without any issues. The pictures posted on VRBO pale in comparison to the house. The house is beautiful, and it's hard to pick just one thing we loved most about the house. The architecture of the house is old and charming, yet the house itself has all modern amenities one could want- such as new appliances in the kitchen. My husband and I stayed in the loft, which was fine for us but could be difficult for older travelers. Our parents stayed in the bedrooms. Another bonus of the house was the desirability of the neighborhood. It's an easy walk to the Recoleta Mall and Recoleta cemetery. I could continue to give compliments to Mila and this house, but I don't want to risk being verbose. Thanks Mila and Martin for your hospitality! :)"

  • Good apartment

"Apartment is as portrayed in the photos although space is at a premium. Building is in convenient location. Only one small trash can I could find in the unit. Bedroom had issues with external noise. Apartment ran warm - being able to crack windows would have helped but they did not have screens which meant that insects entered. Overall, value of this unit was better than a comparably priced hotel."

  • Highly recommend this apartment & BsAs

"It's a great location, nice building, safe neighborhood. The apartment is exactly as pictured and is clean and well equipped. The air conditioning units are extremely quiet. We used AC because there is street noise with the windows open but when closed it is much quieter and you only hear the buses go by a bit. Food shops are all very near (greengrocer is 2 doors away) and down the block are a laundry, bakeries, cafes, fishmongers, butchers, flower stalls, delis - anything you want including a supermarket open late. ATMs around the corner the other way too on Av. Callao. We spent two weeks here and had a great time in Buenos Aires. There is a lot to do and you can walk all over the city from here or use the buses which are very near. Subte not far either. Max has all kinds of maps and tour guides in the apartment, which were helpful. I recommend going to Teatro Colon for a performance if you can (we saw Mahler's Symphony of a Thousand) and both River Plate and Boca Juniors stadiums were fun to visit. Both are very easy to get to on public transit. Go online to book a tour of Casa Rosada - only weekends or public holidays - but you must book ahead and it's free. We enjoyed the Museo de Bellas Artes, which is less than 10 minutes walk away and is also free so you can do one floor at a time. Another tip is the tango show, Tango Bien, at Borges Cultural Center. Very enjoyable and much less costly than the big dinner and tango shows. The Rose Garden (Paseo de Rosedal) was also beautiful and MALBA enjoyable too. If you need a taxi, it's easy to just flag one down outside the door. We also enjoyed visiting the Palermo and San Telmo neighborhoods. Recommend the Mercado Solidario Bonpland for its lovely tea shop in the back and stalls with organic produce."
