  • Great, responsive owner and beautiful apartment!

"Wonderful stay at this place. Very pretty interior. Right across from a small market for snacks, drinks and walking distance to Centro and Recoleta sights to see. Owner was very responsive and helpful with advice on things to do and even brought by a couple household items we had forgotten for us to borrow."

  • Highly recommend this apartment & BsAs

"It's a great location, nice building, safe neighborhood. The apartment is exactly as pictured and is clean and well equipped. The air conditioning units are extremely quiet. We used AC because there is street noise with the windows open but when closed it is much quieter and you only hear the buses go by a bit. Food shops are all very near (greengrocer is 2 doors away) and down the block are a laundry, bakeries, cafes, fishmongers, butchers, flower stalls, delis - anything you want including a supermarket open late. ATMs around the corner the other way too on Av. Callao. We spent two weeks here and had a great time in Buenos Aires. There is a lot to do and you can walk all over the city from here or use the buses which are very near. Subte not far either. Max has all kinds of maps and tour guides in the apartment, which were helpful. I recommend going to Teatro Colon for a performance if you can (we saw Mahler's Symphony of a Thousand) and both River Plate and Boca Juniors stadiums were fun to visit. Both are very easy to get to on public transit. Go online to book a tour of Casa Rosada - only weekends or public holidays - but you must book ahead and it's free. We enjoyed the Museo de Bellas Artes, which is less than 10 minutes walk away and is also free so you can do one floor at a time. Another tip is the tango show, Tango Bien, at Borges Cultural Center. Very enjoyable and much less costly than the big dinner and tango shows. The Rose Garden (Paseo de Rosedal) was also beautiful and MALBA enjoyable too. If you need a taxi, it's easy to just flag one down outside the door. We also enjoyed visiting the Palermo and San Telmo neighborhoods. Recommend the Mercado Solidario Bonpland for its lovely tea shop in the back and stalls with organic produce."

  • The Place to stay in Buenos Aires

"We just spent two weeks in the apartment and it was perfect. What a location (Recoleta....about 5 blocks from the Cemetary)....we walked almost everywhere in the city and the neighborhood was full of restaurants, gelato, and grocery stores. All that we needed. We generally went out to one restaurant per day, and cooked the other two meals. The apartment was quiet and we really enjoyed early and late times on the balcony. The A/C was excellent, and if we had the balcony door open, there were no bugs flying in. And the bedroom was very quiet. We would highly recommend Max's apt. to anyone and hope to use it again some day."

  • Clean, safe and well located with amazing staff

"The room itself was amazing, and stylish and spacious. However, the best part was the staff. They went out of their way to help, setting up reservations and giving us recommendations that were very useful. We 100% recommend it! Thanks especially to Claudio..."
