  • Excellent place to stay in Recoleta

"My husband & I stayed at this property for almost a week and enjoyed every minute. Great location and exactly as described in photos/description. Valerie and Max were attentive to each of our questions and requests. We had a delightful time and are hoping to return in the near future. The view from the balcony is amazing!"

  • Beautifully located apartment - quiet.

"We enjoyed staying in the apartment very much. It comfortably accommodated five adults and is located near many restaurants, shops and museums. Carlos was a pleasure to work with; responding immediately to questions and anticipating in advance, information we might find useful for our stay. Buenos Aires is a beautiful city with much to see and explore. We recommend this delightful place to others."

  • A magnificent apartment and fantastic neighborhood

"We first did a lot of research before we selected this apartment and this neighborhood. This was our first trip to Buenos Aires, and we wanted to make good careful decisions. We had the opportunity to spend the last two weeks in this beautiful apartment. There are so many superlatives, we will try to give the highlights in a succinct manner. The apartment is owned by lovely people from the US and communicating with them via e mail and telephone was perfect and convenient as we planned our trip. Their on-site manager Sher was also available any time during our trip for us to answer our questions and he helped us arrange for airport transfers, etc... The building is quiet and the unit was appointed beautifully with chandeliers for lighting, comfortable furniture and one of the "Best" showers. The unit also had a beautiful wrap around outdoor balcony overlooking the neighborhood. Now... the other highlight was the neighborhood. We selected this area because there were beautiful parks nearby. The streets were tree-lined up and down each block, and full of MANY restaurants ranging from a variety of ethnic cuisines, many healthy food options, and authentic Argentine steak options. There were several coffee shops, small markets, fruit stands, flower stands, and small boutiques that make up this very comfortable local neighborhood setting. We felt safe at all hours walking in the neighborhood and always felt at home when we returned from other sections of the city. This area is very centrally located and when we travelled to other sections of Palermo, Recoleta, San Telmo, etc... we were either a short taxi ride or subway or we were able to walk. We cannot give a more glowing review to this overall experience. The best testament is that we will return to this apartment if available anytime and we LOVED and can't wait to return to the neighborhood. It was a perfect experience for us!"

  • Highly recommend this apartment & BsAs

"It's a great location, nice building, safe neighborhood. The apartment is exactly as pictured and is clean and well equipped. The air conditioning units are extremely quiet. We used AC because there is street noise with the windows open but when closed it is much quieter and you only hear the buses go by a bit. Food shops are all very near (greengrocer is 2 doors away) and down the block are a laundry, bakeries, cafes, fishmongers, butchers, flower stalls, delis - anything you want including a supermarket open late. ATMs around the corner the other way too on Av. Callao. We spent two weeks here and had a great time in Buenos Aires. There is a lot to do and you can walk all over the city from here or use the buses which are very near. Subte not far either. Max has all kinds of maps and tour guides in the apartment, which were helpful. I recommend going to Teatro Colon for a performance if you can (we saw Mahler's Symphony of a Thousand) and both River Plate and Boca Juniors stadiums were fun to visit. Both are very easy to get to on public transit. Go online to book a tour of Casa Rosada - only weekends or public holidays - but you must book ahead and it's free. We enjoyed the Museo de Bellas Artes, which is less than 10 minutes walk away and is also free so you can do one floor at a time. Another tip is the tango show, Tango Bien, at Borges Cultural Center. Very enjoyable and much less costly than the big dinner and tango shows. The Rose Garden (Paseo de Rosedal) was also beautiful and MALBA enjoyable too. If you need a taxi, it's easy to just flag one down outside the door. We also enjoyed visiting the Palermo and San Telmo neighborhoods. Recommend the Mercado Solidario Bonpland for its lovely tea shop in the back and stalls with organic produce."
