  • Excellent location, great facilities, feeling like you are at home! Vale la pena quedarse aqui!

"I want to thank Alfredo and Ana Maria for this great rent. Location is excellent, this is a relative new building in great shape, all amenities work well with me and it is a great place to stay with family to feel like you remain at home. Neighborhood is very safe and on top of that having 24h security in the doorman let me sleep comfortable when we are outside the US. Furniture is contemporary cut, very neat and in great shape. Being so close to Larcomar makes the stay much nicer and practical (approx 450 feet): great restaurants and elite stores for shopping in Peru (the most recognized stores to buy Alpaca clothes, etc), secure taxis 24h in front of the mall and if you want to buy goodies or planning to stay long, there is a descend size Wong store inside Larcomar that allow you to buy basically anything for daily living at a very reasonable price (like any Wong stores in Lima), love the "empanadas", "just baked" bread and the fruits like "chirimoya" and "granadillas" that you can find there. Definitely a great place to stay if you are staying in Lima and definitely I would stay there when I return to Lima. It is just 1/2 a block (around 150feet) from the "Malecon", great walking area where you see people jogging, biking with a great view from a small hill to the pacific ocean, with spectacular sunsets.

  • Hospitality and so much more!

"We stayed a wonderful 2 weeks at Samana. The location is GREAT! Just a few miles from Plaza de Armas and a short walk to just about everything in Cusco. (btw if you are not up for a walk, you can get anywhere by taxi for just a few soles). Betty is the hostess with the mostest. She will set up tours for you if that is what you prefer. She had our trip planned out so that we could do Machu Picchu, as well as seeing all the sites around Cusco. Breakfast was included and was excellent. It was great to try out authentic Peruvian cuisine. The apartment was very spacious, modern and clean. There is nothing that I would have changed about our time there. Thank you for a great experience."

  • Excellent apartment in a great area.

"The apartment is in the Barranco area which is the nicest area to stay in Lima. It is very close to the sea and easy walking distance along the pleasant cliff top road to the main restaurant and café area and the centre of Barranco. It is quiet and there is a doorman 24 hours a day so the security is good. The apartment is spacious and well equipped. There are views along the coast from the master bedroom. It easily accomodated the 4 of us and we would be happy to rent it again if we return to Lima and recommend it to others. The apartment was clean and well maintained. Zonia is very good with communication, fluent in English, and rang to welcome us."

  • Home Away From Home

"I have been home for two weeks, and I am already missing Peru and our wonderful hosts in Cusco! Our family of four with two teenage girls sought an authentic experience that connected us with the culture and people of Cusco. Mission accomplished! We were warmly welcomed at the airport after a long flight, and we immediately felt at home in this apartment. It holds a family very well, with each of us having enough space to relax after a busy day exploring wonderful Cusco. Having a kitchen allowed us to prepare our own breakfast (when we didn't splurge on chocolate croissants at the bakery Qosqo Maki). The furniture is new and clean and the space very well appointed. Location is everything, and this apartment could not be better positioned to enjoy Cusco and yet escape the tourist crowd. It is just a short walk to Plaza de Armas, and an even shorter walk to San Blas Language School where our girls took Spanish (wonderfully arranged by Patricia, our host). A public market is just five minutes away if you want to pick up fresh food for a delicious dinner at home. Our kids quickly discovered La Esquina, a cafe serving homemade ice cream just 3 minutes from the apartment. You must try the lucuma ice cream for a truly local experience (delicious!). Laundry service is available at the end of the block. We always felt safe. This apartment had the "home away from home" trifecta: comfortable space, nearby food and sights, and most importantly, a wonderful family. We loved getting to know Patricia and her family, and we greatly appreciate their warm generosity in sharing their language and culture with us. Our kids connected with their kids, and we all enjoyed the exchange of hobbies and music that comes when teenagers connect across cultures. Thinking back on our time in Peru, Machu Picchu was breathtaking, and we loved Ollantaytambo's rushing water and impressive ruins. But it is Patricia and her family who make me smile the most."
