  • Absolutely wonderful

"We arrived @ the home in mid Sept.a dryer season. The weather was perfect the whole time. The home it's self is a work of art.....it was like staying in a gallery of sorts. My traveling companion is a fine furniture maker, as was my father. We were in awe of the woodworking details of this splendid home. The location is convenient. The lagoon is more than you can dream of .The kiacks are nice,we did trips every morning and loved it. The whale watching excursions are fab.Whoever built this house ,built it with pure love.Comfy and cozy....I did not get more than two bugbites over 2 wks.On the other hand, my older and apparently more tender friend definitely needed to use the bug juice(fair skinned)I turn brown as a berry quick,so was too tough for the buggers.I highly recommend a stay .If you are going for 4 stars get bilked at the hilton. If you want to mingle in style with the locals stay @ the House of Peace....Truely peaceful....and the trade winds blowing @ night are very sleep inducing ...and romantic. This house has very good karma."

  • Better Than Any Resort

"Just book it! This was the most beautiful house and setting imaginable. Returning home after a day's adventure was just as breathtaking as all the stunning sites on the island. It is the perfect location for nearby surfing, kayaking and snorkeling. My husband surfed every day at the Haapiti surf spot, easily accessible by renting a kayak from Mark's Place just down the street. The best snorkeling on the island was just a few minutes drive north. Again, you can rent kayaks and paddle out to swim with sharks and rays or head to a protected lagoon for fantastic snorkeling. Moorea is a small island, so nothing is that far away and there is no traffic. We walked around all the major resorts, went swimming in their lagoons, and upon returning home we always felt we had found the best spot on the island. The owner, Aline, was always quick to respond to any questions; a lovely and gracious host."

  • Très beau bungalow tout confort

"Bungalow tout confort, très propre, sécurisé. Très bon accueil. Celui-ci manque de vue dégagée par contre les 2 autres ont une vue magnifique et une piscine privée."

  • Stunning views from a lovely villa that has everything and then some!

"From the greeting when we arrived by Elodie through to our departure, the 11 days at this luxury villa could not have been better. It is in a private, gated community on the highest road with views to die for, a cool pool (because it's hot!) and a full kitchen for cooking some great seafood. The house is modern but has every aspect of the best of Pacific design. If you are contemplating the Intercontinental, just don't. This place is so much better value and you can just walk down the hill to the Intercontinental to see the dolphin pool and turtle sanctuary. Also, go visit the beach in front of Les Tipaniers just 3 minutes drive away. For groceries, head to the SuperU at Cooks Bay and for fresh tuna, look out on the side of the road for locals selling it. Thanks so much Alain! You have a great house and we loved staying!"
