Vacation rentals near Haida Canoe Cove

Good wifi. Furniture is nice. Medium size fridge. Good amenities. Center of roof is all skylight so you get lighting which will be nice in more overcast/cooler months. No AC which is usual for San Juans. This is a new property to the property managers and we strongly suggest the owners install some screens on the downstairs windows and door to allow the house to get cooled down in the later afternoon without letting in too many mosquitos (which weren't too bad honestly).

The property is about a 5 minute walk from the Roche Harbor Marina. I quaint little sqaure with a grocery 3 restaurants and even fresh caught seafood off the docks. Lots of activities and then a nice condo to come back to to hang out on the deck and listen to the sounds of nature. This is a very quiet setting. The property manager went the extra mile to replace a coffee maker that was not working, it was delivered within an hour. Overall a great place to stay and I will be coming back.

We stayed at this beautiful property for a week to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday. Some friends came in on their sailboat and mowed out front and stayed on their boat overnight, but joined us during the day and it was a beautiful calm bay. we did some clamming Yum Yum. Each bedroom had its own bathroom but awkwardly there was no powder room off the living room? The view is beautiful, but if the trees grow up that are volunteering right off the deck to their mature size there will be very little view in the not so distant future. The owners were wonderful and communicative! I would definitely stay there again.

The house was perfect for the 4 of is and is in an amazing location. We had a great time exploring the island. Karen was a great help to us.

Great 3br house in quiet area near Roche Harbor!

My wife and I were looking for a place to get away from the hustle. Orcas Island and particularly the Madrona Suite were just what we were looking for. The studio is spacious for two and very comfortable. The view out the large picture window is wonderful. There is wifi but no TV, which was fine with us. We brought a laptop and did stream a show or two with no issue. The hosts are very nice people. They provided us with information on the islands and left us to our own devices. If we hadn't been roaming around that much, I believe we could have spent more time conversing with them. If we didn't live 1600 miles away in Arizona, I could see coming back here for a long weekend a couple of times a year. It will definitely be in our plans should we manage another trip to Orcas in the future.
