  • Great stay

"Great place, great view, great price. Comfy accommodations. Lots of speed bumps, but that has nothing to do with Peggy"

  • Comfortable and spacious

"We enjoyed a 5-night stay over the Christmas holidays at this 2-bedroom condo, a good value for the cost. Since we were grateful for previous reviewers' information, we will try to do the same. The many positives: spacious; fast, reliable wifi; comfortable queen bed/bedding in the master; great kitchen: fully stocked, nothing lacking; washer/dryer in a large laundry room with plenty of shelving: fantastic for all our ski gear; a very clean condo which appeared to be newly painted: no marks on the walls whatsoever; plenty of towels, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry/cleaning supplies; and a downtown location: a close walk to restaurants, shops and city beach. We also enjoyed the games, small gas fireplace (the owner was immediately responsive when we couldn't initially get it working, then it was fine), two tvs, oversized comfy sofa and chair, and (with our skis and boots) a ground floor/park-at-your-door apartment. Inside, it was surprisingly quiet given the downtown location. We suggest: A bed, futon or daybed for the second bedroom (thanks to previous reviewers, we knew to bring a queen-size air mattress to put on top of the queen pullout mattress, which is truly unfit for sleeping on), blackout blinds for the master bedroom, and finally (and this may be highly subjective), although my husband and I appreciated that all bedding was laundry-fresh upon check in, we suggest a fabric softener with a less intensive scent. (The overwhelming scent actually did interfere with our sleep). Overall, we would definitely recommend this vacation rental, best for a couple or small family. The owner was a pleasure to deal with throughout the process. Although perhaps not our choice for a summer accommodation (some would still appreciate the downtown convenience, though), we would choose this condo again on future ski trips. It was perfect for my husband, I and our teenager- plenty of room for all three of us to spread out."

  • Great Lake front Cabin for a family get away!

"We had a great time staying at Larry's lake home! Right on the water with plenty of room for our two families to have our own space. Our kids had a great time playing and fishing off the dock and we enjoyed sitting around the camp fire each evening. And sitting on the front porch drinking coffee each morning was a fantastic treat! Great vacation in a great home."

  • Lake paradise

"Beautiful serene lake setting, very comfy beds with plenty of towels, including beach towels. Our favorite part was the fishing off the dock-my 5 y o grandson caught a small mouth bass-and enjoyed the kayaking. Owner has everything including plenty of life jackets and lounge chairs by dock. House has a nice open plan where four adults and two children had plenty of room to play games and grill on the deck. Loved the marina close by-ice cream and homemade pizza down the road. Check out town of Sandpoint-lots of boutiques and kid friendly shops."
