  • A Little Slice of Heaven

"High Horse Lodge was just what the doctor ordered for me and my family last weekend. The home and property are beautiful, clean, and well equipped. My four year old son had a ball playing in the woods near the creek, while me and my fiance enjoyed relaxing in the hammock with only the sound of birds chirping. Ms. Harriet is a wonderful hostess, and we enjoyed seeing her goats, chickens, and horses. She set us up to fish in their pond, also. I highly recommend High Horse Lodge!"

  • Jule's Point One-Night Get-Away

"The cabin is very clean, comfortable and inviting for a couple get-away. Although there is no "view" due to its location, it is very convenient for walking the Mentone shops and restaurants. The key exchange and departure was seamless and we really enjoyed our stay. Thanks Ray!"

  • Love Nest

"My husband and I had a wonderful time here. It was such a cute place. It was close enough to everything so that we could enjoy all the things we wanted to do, but far enough away that we had privacy. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, and there were throws to snuggle with on the sofa. We enjoyed the firepit and walking in the area. We also took a short drive to Desoto Falls and Little River Canyon. There was great hiking in the Canyon area. We spent an entire day hiking and driving to all of the overlooks. It was a wonderful, relaxing few days."
