  • Great Location, Great Price!!

"This place was perfect for our small family of 3! I have to admit that we usually pay much more for a condo during our annual beach weekend, so we are used to a certain standard as far as a modern building, condo size, beachfront, etc....but now that I've stayed here, I'm asking myself, "Why would I pay more?". Upon our arrival, I was happy with the covered parking spot that we had. We easily brought our bags up to our floor, none of the usual trudging through a huge parking deck to get to an elevator, than trudging through a huge reception area to get to another elevator. When we first walked through the door, I was a little thrown off because the entryway is the bedroom. I didn't like that at first, it just felt weird. But I got used to it. I also didn't like that the bedroom window was covered by a large piece of cool art. Not having a window made the room feel somewhat claustrophobic to me, but I got used to that as well. Making our way thru the rest of the condo, I thought it was small, but fabulous. The bathroom was good sized and updated enough, the kitchen and living room combo was beautiful, and felt just like home! The view has sadly been obstructed by another condo across the street, but I still thought the view was pretty. I could still see some waves, and I had the treat of waking up early one morning to a storm rolling in off the water. I thought the contrast of the lighted strip of buildings against the backdrop of those dark, low-lying clouds was spectacular. The beach access still remains, and it was very convenient. The condo was stocked with everything you might need, extra towels, blankets, pillows, appliances, dishes. Roger hasn't missed a thing. It really did feel like home, away from home. The only thing I missed was a laundry closet, but I realized after a few days that there was a laundry on the ground level, so that was cool. I also appreciated the outdoor showers for rinsing off after a day of beach play, and the swings, which were nice to sit in and watch the rain. As you can tell, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The only thing I regretted was not having access to a pool, but even on the day it rained, we had a blast in the gulf. In closing, if you are the kind of person who has to have a fair amount of luxury, this isn't the place for you. But if you are ok with staying in an older place, and have a smaller group (I would say no more than 4), you might just fall in love with this place. I did!"

  • Good location, economical, clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated.

"The location is directly at the safe, convenient traffic light, deeded access, paved walkway to the sugar sands and emerald waters near the Sea-N-Suds restaurant. You are not directly on the beach but this is evident by the most fair and economical price. The short walk is a piece of cake and is truly just a few steps further than the pricier condos directly on the beach. While the condo is smaller the open floor plan allows for plenty of space, bedding and seating for four people. We had more than ample adequate space and seating for all! The beds and bedding are clean and comfortable. The A/C works great. The kitchen has everything you need with full size fridge but smaller stove and dishwasher and microwave. We cooked all our main meals in the condo. Everything we needed was there including a blender. The bathroom is a good size with eight towels, wash clothes and hand towels with three very over-sized drawers for storage, nice clean shower and tub. The round glass kitchen table has comfy seating for four with additional bar stools off the kitchen bar. A long hall closet and chest of drawers in the bedroom made for plenty of storage for all of our clothes. A small wooden balcony overlooks beach houses and a dumpster. The balconies are in close proximity which was a bit annoying when neighbors were smoking. Still it was nice to have a small outdoor area. The glass sliding door was a challenge to open, close and lock. The only real complaint is no fault of the owners was the street noise and noise from the hallway and stairs. The weekend, party in the hallways and stairway was louder than the weekday noise. There are signs posted in the hallway requesting to keep halls quiet. There is no washer and dryer in the unit but the property does have a coin operated washer and dryer downstairs. Two porch swings and a charcoal grill are available downstairs as well which was wonderful. The assigned parking was a challenge getting in and out of with our large truck but on the other hand it was really nice having the covered parking! The unit is tastefully, comfortably and adequately decorated. I would stay here again and would recommend especially for the budget minded. However, due to the hallway noise I might bring a box fan to help drown out the cars, chatter, footsteps and crying children."

  • Didn't want to leave!!

"Wow, what can I say!!!! My boyfriend and I were HIGHLY satisfied with this condo. We have never been to Gulf Shores, but Randy sends you a packet of restaurants to check out. Being a crosswalk away from the beach was awesome, next to Wafflehouse and a surf shop. Very well kept and will DEFINITELY book again. ☺️☺️☺️"

  • Another Excellent Vacation Stay!!

"This was our (my boyfriend and I) second year to stay in this little condo! We absolutely love it here. It is so neat, well furnish and decorated so cute. It is also convenient to everything you need. Being able to park underneath is also great. And the access to the beach is perfect! Randy and Lisa are easy to work with and makes the process so easy. We discovered new restaurants - thanks to the list that was in the condo. A couple were out where we probably would never have discovered them if we hadn't been tipped off! There are so many great places to eat around here! We look forward to coming back here next August. It is the perfect getaway!"
