  • Our stay here was amazing!

"We brought a small group of young adults from our church for a retreat. This place was perfect. It accommodated our group of 11 very comfortably. The house is beautiful and has everything we needed to make a great retreat. We loved the location and the solitude from being further down fort Morgan road. The beach is just a short walk from the house, we were able to go there very easily for devotionals. Would love to stay here again as a group or with our family!"

  • Great Getaway off the beaten path

"first and foremost, the reason i chose this location over a couple of other options was due to the great communication by Amy. She answered all questions and responded back in a timely manner regarding anything about the condo/location. Great communication goes a long way in my book and that's why i prefer to rent from owners rather than property management. Some of these comments had no effect on my rating . I am just giving as much info to make sure this place is what your group is looking for... Cons: this location is West of Gulf Shores in Fort Morgan -it is a more secluded area. If you want to leave the resort for food/nightlife. its a good 20+ minutes(without traffic) or more depending on where you are going . there are a few swimming pools but no "adult" pools. none of the pools have an outdoor bar/swim up bar. there is 1 pool with a bar & grill but you are required to purchase membership bracelets daily to have access to this area @ 30-35$ a day per room (not worth the extra fees). this unit sleeps 6 adults comfortably. king bed- sleeps 2 BR#2- queen bed- sleeps 2 BR#3 1 double/1 twin-sleeps 2 total --the couch bed is not comfortable. very thin, sagging mattress(sleep on the sofa cushions or add an air mattress to this) Pro's: this is a resort. directly on the beach multiple options and amenities on site. restaurants, and bars, ice cream shop activities such as tennis, volleyball, life size checkers & chess, virtual golf (Full Golf courses within 2 minute drive) Elevators- no long waits for elevators even during busy hours Secluded area in Fort Morgan Dollar general, gas station, and liquor store nearby the room is much bigger and nicer than it even appears in the photos very well stocked with essentials such as cups, bowls, appliances, etc We did vacation here a day after Storm Hermine so the beach was not as beautiful as expected. but still nice considering the situation. other suggestions/tips bring some foldout beach chairs/pop up tents beach chairs/umbrellas available for rent by the resort ( and the condo did have a couple of children chairs/small umbrellas). it is 30$ a day for 2 chairs/1 umbrella water activities such as parasailing, jet skis, etc, is a short drive to get there: it's not directly on the resort premises Uber was not available.Taxis charged us 10$ PER PERSON one way into gulf shores. restaurant & bars have happy hours for food and drinks- dine in only. very nice, secluded, stress free getaway with everything onsite!!"

  • Nice Condo at a family friendly resort with great view!

"We took our children to Gulf Shores for the first time and were impressed with this property at a very nice resort with all the amenities. The unit accomodated my husband and I and our 4 children (ages 4-13). The built in bunk beds were a hit with our kids...the pull out couch, not so much. The springs were worn out and breaking and definitely in need of replacement. The kitchen had everything we needed and allowed us to eat in some days. The washer & dryer in unit was helpful during our trip. We did have to wash provided bath towels a few times since we were only given 5 bath towels and 3 hand towels for 6 people. We loved sitting on the patio in the am & pm to enjoy the amazing views. We investigated paying resort fees to participate in the daily activities & utilize the clubhouse, but found it wasn't necessary. We were able to use the building D pool for free and many of the resort activities were free on the lawn. We liked the free muffins & coffee every morning in the clubhouse too. This resort is 20 min out of Gulf Shores, but there is so much to do that you don't need to leave the resort! The unit & the entire resort is very family friendly and we would recommend it to others! Thanks for a pleasant stay at a reasonable rate!"
