  • Beautiful Home. Definitely Recommend

"The home was beautiful and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to visit Lewis Smith Lake. We were down on the lake for a work trip and are so glad we went this route. The bedrooms were roomy and really comfortable. You could definitely fit a lot of people in the house as there is plenty of room. Everyone was clean and well kept up. Additionally it was super private and on a quiet part of the lake so you can enjoy some peace and quiet."

  • Perfect Getaway

"This place was absolutely amazing! It fit our group of 6 people easy and everyone was comfortable! The kitchen had everything you needed even seasonings for cooking. It was stocked with all the sheets towels pots pans utensils etc.. The grocery store was only 10-15 minutes away and that made it very easy to go and get food. It was very peaceful. The boat dock was ground level so NO STAIRS. The dock was great for laying out and swimming we stayed out there all day! It was the perfect place to get away and bond with your family or friends. We will definitely be booking this place again and making it an every summer thing! We enjoyed every minute!"

  • Nice Lake House with Pool on quiet cul-de-sac

"Rented this house for 5 days during Labor Day weekend 2016. House was very comfortable with plenty of room for 2 families with adult teenage children. Covered dock was great for our boat and the sundeck attached to the dock was a favorite hang-out during the day. The pool was perfect for late afternoon and evening swimming and just hanging out. The large kitchen/dining area was perfect for breakfast and evening meals. The extra full-size refrigerator next to kitchen was great for drinks and extra ice. A/C worked great. WIFI worked great. The gas grill was for perfect for grilling steaks and burgers. Overall had a great time."

  • Time slowed down

"We all noticed how it seemed that time slowed down while we were at Family Paradise. Isn't that what everyone wants in this hustle and bustle world we live in? We had plenty of time each day to enjoy all of the activities and each other. From the time we booked this property, Shannon was available to help with any questions we might have about our stay. We found the property easily with the directions we received and were very happy with the interior of the house. It was neat, clean, and offered everything we needed for a relaxing family weekend. We swam, kayaked, fished and ate constantly. The hit, of course, was the water slide on the swim dock. The children could never get enough of that and the parents had to give it a try too. The children also enjoyed the trampoline, but the water slide.....well, there was no comparison. The water was down some at this time of the year, but as the house is located on deep water that was not a problem for swimming, diving, and sliding from the swim dock. This is a rock shoreline so I believe that a swim from the shore when the water is up would be a step into immediate deep water. That sounds like fun to me. Shannon had explained that we could launch nearby and boat in but our crew determined to carry the kayaks and paddle board down the dock ramp. That was a bit of work for the guys but then we were able to keep the boats in the water or set them up on the dock at night. The house is on a quiet cove so we felt like we had complete privacy and safety for the swimming children. All in all, this was an enjoyable stay and I do recommend it for groups or families. One note for those with really young children (we had a 2, 3, and 6 year old with us) the stairs inside going to the lower level seemed a bit steep so we had our 2 and 3 year olds scoot down on their bottoms which is a good idea for that age group anyway."
