  • Fabulous!

"We went for a quick getaway and this unit was exactly as described, only better! The furnishings were so nice and we had everything we needed. The views were fantastic, and the unit seemed so private while on the balcony. Loved the bedrooms at opposite ends of the unit - made it feel very private. The master bedroom was very spacious and it's shower was incredible with the wall of body jets. I will definitely rent this unit again and refer it to anyone looking for a great place and a great deal."

  • Memories are made on Christmas Vacation

"Our family, children and grand children ages (9, 11, & two 16) totaling 9 had two months to anticipate a different Christmas Vacation at Regency Isle. The family gift of fun in the sun and surf instead of snow in Michigan was much awaited. They picked out their spaces from the photos on VRBO and had a great idea of what was to come when we arrived. After two days of driving, we arrived to 83 degree weather. The condo filled all of our expectations! The condo was very spacious and was nicely appointed. The kitchen had seating for all of us at meal time. Great, comfy beds and room for us all. We never had to stand in line for a bathroom. The beautiful views from the balconies, the washer and dryer, the puzzles and movies on hand all added to our comfort. The ice machine cut down on the soda bills as they drank lots of ice water. Swimming in the big waves in the gulf and at the pools was first on the list, night walking on the beach searching for crabs and jelly fish by the full moon ended the day. We cooked most of our meals in and found everything we needed in the well stocked kitchen. Daily walks on the beach when it was dry started our days. We packed a lot of sight seeing into the week touring the Battleship Alabama and the Submarine Drum, toured the Navel Air Museum, shopped, visited many arcades, zip lined at the Wharf and go carts in Gulf Shores. We took a ride to B & B Pecan Farm in Fair Hope. Had Pizza at Lillian's, Dinner at Desoto's and Lunch at the Hurricane Grill. Even a few rainy days were not so bad because we had cards and games along with all the smart phones. New Years Eve there was a great fire works show at Flora-bama easily seen from the balcony. New Years day there was the polar plunge on the beach we again watched from the balcony. Plenty of football too, although we were rooting for Michigan State and got clobbered! Our thanks to the owners who were kind enough to share their lovely place with us. You have a big piece of paradise on the beach in Alabama. We all made so many special memories they can't wait to come back. We will keep Regency Isle 1101 on our list of place to call our home away from home."

  • Great Condo and Great Vacation!!

"What else can I say that has not already been stated?!? The condo was very spacious and enjoyable. It was well stocked with everything a family needs. There were plenty of clean towels (which were a plus!). There is a washer and dyer, ice maker, gas grill and oustanding patio to enjoy! Everything was nice, peaceful and above all spotless. Joshua (owner) was very quick to respond to our reservation request and all of my questions. The Wharf has outstanding amenities for any family. The Oasis Pool was great and my kids loved it! There are plenty of restaurants at The Wharf, so whatever you all are craving, you can find it. Our favorite were "Hot Spot" and "Stk Burger". These two places were outstanding! If your wife or significant other likes to shop, well The Wharf has you covered too. With plenty of money, my wife could do some damage! Our favorite shop was the "Sandollar Lifestyles". It consists of about 10-15 stores that are all connected on the inside with some majors brands having their own little section. Awesome store and decent prices. There are tons of activities for kids and adults everynight. Bands, water slides, hula hoop contests, arcade, ferris wheel (it was being fixed during our stay and was not operational) and a movie theater! I would DEFINITELY recommend this property because of Joshua and all of the things to do at The Wharf!"

  • Very nice rental

"Just stayed with my daughter, son in law and 4 year old granddaughter. We would go back again to this unit. Rental company was very easy to work with and responded to any questions or concerns very quickly. Portside is in the perfect location for us. Beach is not very busy and it is quite. Pool area is very nice and there is an area to fish and to catch hermit crabs and minnows. The only issue with the unit is that the big bedroom is on the warm side. We have stayed in a different unit at portside and had the same issue there also. There is a ceiling fan so that helps a lot. Would recommend to family and friends."
