  • Stay #2

"Once again, Art and Kathy did not disappoint. We have stayed in this condo before when our daughter was a few months old and this time she was 2 1/2 yrs old. She really enjoyed the sofa bed. Even though it is a one-bedroom unit, our daughter had plenty of space to run around. This time around there were changes within Sugar Beach Condos and Gulf Shores that we knew out of Art & Kathy's control. Alcohol ban on Gulf Shores Beach cause a lot more college spring breakers to come to Sugar Beach; which made Sugar Beach more noisy than years past. We will be renting from Art & Kathy again."

  • Clean, quiet and family friendly!

"Spent 3 nights during spring break. We loved that the unit was down a bit from the busier Gulf Shores area. Plenty of restaurant choices and kid friendly activities. The unit itself was "as advertised". Clean and well decorated, plenty of room for our family of 5. Being the end unit closest to the beach offered great views and kept foot traffic/noise to a minimum. On the flip side, we had to walk farther to get out to the parking lot. Couldn't beat the views, we all agreed we'd like to make it back one day."

  • Curbside charm

"While this condo at Sugar Beach has charming appeal, the couch is super uncomfortable to sit on as well as sleep. The only piece of comfortable furniture in the whole place is the bed upstairs. The bathroom upstairs seems to lack a normal sized toilet that was made for small people or children. It was way too cramped. You are not getting a straight on Gulf view but the view is not bad and the balcony has a nice small table and chairs. If you bring 4 adults to this condo it will be cramped. Overall, every other thing about the condo was great. It had everything you could imagine to cook with, but again the kitchen was a small and cramped space. Due to my age and inability to climb stairs constantly, I would not choose to stay at this condo again."

  • Good place for a weekend trip

"We had a great time the condo was nice but had a few problems. The plug in the guest bath light seemed to have a short in the switch, the unit needed dusting, and the remote for the living room tv didn't work may have been batteries. This is a great condo but not for long stays with children because of small tv in bedrooms and small kitchen."
