  • Great weekend getaway from Arkansas

"We had a wonderful time enjoying the amenities at Caribe. The condo was spacious and newly decorated and had everything we needed. We were only two couples but it can easily sleep 10. We will be back!"

  • Peaceful and easy

"Everything about it was easy, from booking, to checking in, the stay, and checking out. Seamless. The property was beautiful, and our stay was just what we needed. The kids loved the view of the beach, and I loved that it was quiet and not poolside. They had a good time at each of the pools, playing mini golf, tennis, and the beach. The staff was quick to fix one item that needed to be addressed, (we really didn't care about it, but pointed it out when we arrived and it was quickly fixed) and all were extremely courteous. I highly recommend this property and Liquid Life agency, and going after peak season during the middle of the week. We stayed Monday through Saturday. It was quiet but not isolated. Each room has its own bath, and each of my kids had their own bed. It was like being in someone's home but with the amenities of a hotel. We would definitely return."

  • Pros and Cons

"My family and I (husband and 4 boys) have stayed all along the the coast line from this area into Florida. We did enjoy our stay here. Had no problems mentioned by other reviewers with the rental company. Pros: The condo was beautiful, well kept, clean and kitchen was better stocked than some of the houses we've rented in the past for much more money. Needless to say I came over- prepared not expecting all that was already there. one TV did refuse to work for us, but to be honest we weren't watching a lot of TV either so it didn't bother us. The view was beautiful and the beach was always clean and gorgeous. This seems to be a majority FAMILY FRIENDLY place to be. My kids made so many new friends I lost count. The staff was always friendly, polite, and helpful. It's not far from Adventure Island or the Wharf if you are looking to get out one night. And you MUST try Docs Seafood Shack for supper and the Hot Rod Diner for breakfast at some point during your stay. Both amazing places nearby. Cons: The indoor pool was practically inaccessible b/c of ONE rowdy group lining the pool and hot tub area with beer cans and constant loud swearing. (Again it was just ONE specific group of people; not the majority) The Phoenix 10 is right next door to Flora Bama (a bar) so expect some loud live music and from our experience police SUVs there every night. On our 3rd day there someone actually stole our beach chairs from the bins and we had to buy more so DO NOT trust them. Overall I would definitely stay here again if it was available. The pros overweighed the cons in my opinion."

  • Worth the view!

"This was an excellent choice for our family of four for several reasons: the view, the location, proximity to the beach, pools, and tennis courts, Gulf State Park and pier, shopping and dining (The Gulf by the Perdido bridge which showed outdoor movies at night), and did I mention the view?! A Walmart market was about 5 miles east, Florida was 8 miles east. We ventured into Gulf Shores, but much preferred the quiet and peacefulness of the Sugar Beach condos, small enough that the beach wasn't crowded but large enough for covered parking and nice pools. This condo was right on the beach, no having to cross the road or haul things a great distance. Condo 149 was one flight up and 3 doors down, no waiting for elevators. Such a lovely, cozy place: 2 bedrooms and bathrooms, washer, dryer, dishwasher, hide a bed, 2 lazy boys, and did I mention the view from the patio?! There is an empty lot next door, so no concrete buildings to look at. It wasn't ritzy, but that is what made it so great. Very clean, updated, and super comfy master bed. I hope we can come back soon. Did I mention the view?"
