  • Very nice house.

"We enjoyed our stay, the house is very nice, everything you need to be comfortable! The owners are very nice and accommodating. We had 2 trucks and 2 boats and parking was a little tight but manageable. Pickwick Lake is awesome! Eastport marina and ramp is only 1/2 mile away-this is at mid lake. Iuka is a nice little town about 6 miles away for gas/food/groceries, not the place to stay if you are looking for night life but great place for a family vacation at the lake! Verizon has almost no cell service at the house, AT&T has good cell service all over the area. Would definitely stay here again!"

  • Beautiful, Great Location, A Bit Loud

"The apartment is absolutely beautiful! The pictures don't really do it justice. While the property itself is historic, the place has all the modern conveniences. It was very clean when I arrived, and there was a sweet note, flowers and candy there when I arrived. What a great way to start! The location is just about perfect. I grew up in the area and was in town for a wedding, and I promise this is a good place to be. You're only a few blocks from downtown and Wilson Park. I had my dogs with me, and we loved our neighborhood walks. The only reason I'm giving this place four stars is because it's really loud. I was on the first floor, so maybe the upstairs is different. But I could hear everything. I could hear other people's TVs from my living room. I could hear conversations on the porch. And because there are wood floors upstairs and down, you can hear every step above you. The first night I got a fright because my upstairs neighbors were walking, and I could have sworn they were right in my hallway! I got used to it after a couple of days, but I would take that into consideration if you're a traveler who greatly minds noise. Again, maybe a stay upstairs would have been different. Overall, it's a really great property, and the owner's assistant was very responsive and answered any questions I had."

  • Great Rental for Multiple Families

"We had a great stay on the Pickwick Lake. Most of our activities were indoors (playing board games, devotionals, relaxing, etc.) during our November stay. The owner was outstanding! He offered additional activities that made for a great weekend! There's a play set on the grounds for kiddos, which we discovered on our second day. Be sure to bring all of your food items as the nearest grocery store is quite a distance. Overall, a great experience. We did a lot of research finding this location for our families, and it paid off! Thanks!!!"
