  • Five star stay

"This is our second stay and it was great. Pastries upon arrival, pool table, tv's with all the movie stations. But the very best part was the beautiful patio overlooking the pristine lake. Spent more time there than I did inside. Again thank you so much for letting us stay!!"

  • Bama fans

"House was as advertised. We had six adults in our group. House was clean and modern. It's about a 10 minute drive to stadium which worked out great."

  • Wonderful Weekend at Wanderlust!

"I flew in from Palo Alto, California to enjoy an amazing reunion weekend with my sisters in Tuscaloosa at Wanderlust 1! This adorable historic home is full of southern charm and immense character. We spent many evenings in the family room gathered around the quaint fire, sipping wine and catching up! Tuscaloosa is obviously home to the University of Alabama and is probably most known for game day weekends, but you must explore this area for the incredible boutiques and relaxed dining options. 5 Bar has some pretty amazing Bloody Mary's if you are a fan and the fried shrimp is everything this ex-southern girl remembers it should be! I would highly recommend slipping off the beaten path to Northport, which is literally on the other side of the river. This little downtown is everything you could want from antique, to boutiques to dining to art exhibitions. I could have explored Northport for days on end without a minute of boredom! Take time to experience Tuscaloosa outside of the University and the might see T-Town in a whole new light!"

  • Beautiful Home

"This family home is an absolutely lovely ranch style home and the owners are warm and welcoming. We met them when we checked in. Home is nestled in a quiet subdivision which was a great escape each night from the crowds of Iron Bowl Weekend on UA campus. Drive was easy to campus and Publix grocery store was very convenient to this home. If you aren't interested in staying right next to campus, this place is perfect."
