  • Perfect for family holiday getaway

"The GIrdwood condo was easy to find and secluded, while a five minute walk to the day lodge. The condo had plenty of sleeping spaces and a sufficiently large gathering space to comfortably fit our family of young adults and friends for dinner and games that evening on the card table. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner and make breakfast with a dishwasher for easy cleanup. The carpets seem to be brand new and the condo was very clean, orderly and rustically pleasant, with thoughtful details. The condo was just as it appeared in the photos and Bethan was easy to work with and very responsive. Thanks for a great stay!"

  • Not what we were expecting.

"We were supposed to stay at the East side charmer, but something was wrong. Ms. Amy, moved us to an upgraded rental, which was very nice. We were very pleased with the apartment. We would rent this apartment again, if we go to Anchorage. Thank-you Ms. Amy for such a nice place to stay!!!"

  • Great home in a quiet neighborhood feels like home!

"Marcy and Ryan were great hosts. It is a fantastic little set up in a quiet neighborhood and great location. The place is fully stocked with everything you would need. It was especially nice to have some fresh coffee sitting on the counter. The only thing you need to bring is your sense of adventure Anchorage is a great place with so many things to do nearby. Try to take a drive to Potters Marsh, you can drive a little further to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. On the way back to Anchorage look for the belugas in the waters of Turnagain Arm. Thanks again guys for making our trip the best!"

  • Lovely accommodations with a beautiful view and wonderful hosts. Very close to downtown!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!! We were greeted at the door and shown to a guest bedroom with king sized bed and multiple amazing views. We had our own private bathroom across the hall and were provided all the necessities we might need (towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc) and some unexpected ones as well like access to their beach cruisers to take to the park (which we did on multiple occasions) and use of their record player/vinyls, french press, and hammock with wonderful views of the inlet to boot. I would also like to mention the park is in biking and walking/running distance along with downtown access (49th brewery - bar & blues central - speakeasy w/amazing cocktails, snow city cafe - breakfast joint & club paris - restaurant were our faves), just a short 15-20 min walk away. There is a beautiful breathtaking flower garden a few doors down that is open for everyone to enjoy. Laura was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us some great tips of things to do and see as well as a heads up when the Aurora was supposed to come out. It was really the perfect place for our little home away from home for the week and would recommend to all. Also a short drive from JBER. Great value! Thank you Laura and Steve :)"
