  • Spacious downtown apartment

"My friend and I stayed for 3 nights in Apt. #3 in late August 2016. We had a car. You can't beat the location if you like to be in the center of town. It is in a historic building on the second floor so you have to walk up a flight of stairs. There is a chair lift but I have no idea if it works. Parking is on the street and we never had trouble finding parking on the few times we actually chose to drive in Seward. When you enter the building it is immediately apparent that this is a really old, musty and creaky building. The hallways are small and narrow. Our unit was very large and very vintage. Aside from the musty smell and the very poor WiFi connection, it was really nice. The manager was kind enough to bring a hairdryer at my request before we arrived. I noticed there already was a hairdryer in the bathroom drawer so we had two. The living room is large. The couch is not so comfortable but not terrible. There is a lot of closet and cabinet space in the apartment and it is well appointed with the basic necessities like a wine opener and wine glasses. ;) The bed had a foam top that was like sleeping on a cloud! The quilt and pillow covers were gorgeous and the closets were huge. The only thing is that there was hardly any shampoo or conditioner in the full size bottles in the shower and only one tiny travel size bottle of shampoo on the counter. However, the bathroom had a cute decorative boat with little soaps and toiletries to make your stay nicer and we had the perfect amount of towels (4 full size bath towels for two women plus smaller towels). If you can get past the almost haunted vibe of this building and poor WiFi connection, this place is spacious, clean and comfortable. You can walk all over Seward from this location. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again."

  • Unbelievable!!

"We stayed here for 2 nights in June 2016. There were 5 of us (my wife and I along with 3 teenagers) and this place was FANTASTIC!! The pictures don't do it justice. First, the location is ideal for anything you are doing in Seward. They aren't kidding about the sea otters playing out in the water, either. You can see them from the deck....SO COOL! There is lots of room, everything was in perfect order, an AWESOME deck with a hot tub and grill, the list goes on and on. Lastly, Sarah was great to work with and available to help with other bookings (day cruise, kayaking, etc.). I HIGHLY recommend staying here and we will definitely be back!!"

  • Quiet, clean, good views

"An excellent location for visitors without a car, even with young children in tow. We enjoyed being within easy walking distance to the beach, Sea Life Center, restaurants, and the free shuttle bus stop. Nice washer and dryer, all the dishes and equipment needed for meal prep, and comfortable bedding were provided. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the balcony looking out to the bay. And thank you for the explicit instructions for the TV remotes! I would definitely recommend to friends."

  • Clean and comfortable. Well advertised. A good value.

"I recommend this property for families and individuals looking for a place to kick back at days end and enjoy peace and quiet, comfortable and clean beds, safe surroundings and knowledgeable and friendly hosts. My family and I enjoyed our time at the Ransom's property. It was well advertised and a good value. Yes, we would stay again!"
