  • Wonderful Vacation Rental in Seward!

    "Upon arrival at the rental house, we were greeted by Doug. He was so friendly and helpful as he gave us a quick tour of the house. The house is so nicely decorated, clean, well maintained, and family friendly. We'll definitely keep Doug's rental in mind since we do like to spend the occasional night in Seward and this place was so much nicer than spending money on a pricey hotel room in town!! My family highly recommends staying here!"

  • Spacious downtown apartment

    "My friend and I stayed for 3 nights in Apt. #3 in late August 2016. We had a car. You can't beat the location if you like to be in the center of town. It is in a historic building on the second floor so you have to walk up a flight of stairs. There is a chair lift but I have no idea if it works. Parking is on the street and we never had trouble finding parking on the few times we actually chose to drive in Seward. When you enter the building it is immediately apparent that this is a really old, musty and creaky building. The hallways are small and narrow. Our unit was very large and very vintage. Aside from the musty smell and the very poor WiFi connection, it was really nice. The manager was kind enough to bring a hairdryer at my request before we arrived. I noticed there already was a hairdryer in the bathroom drawer so we had two. The living room is large. The couch is not so comfortable but not terrible. There is a lot of closet and cabinet space in the apartment and it is well appointed with the basic necessities like a wine opener and wine glasses. ;) The bed had a foam top that was like sleeping on a cloud! The quilt and pillow covers were gorgeous and the closets were huge. The only thing is that there was hardly any shampoo or conditioner in the full size bottles in the shower and only one tiny travel size bottle of shampoo on the counter. However, the bathroom had a cute decorative boat with little soaps and toiletries to make your stay nicer and we had the perfect amount of towels (4 full size bath towels for two women plus smaller towels). If you can get past the almost haunted vibe of this building and poor WiFi connection, this place is spacious, clean and comfortable. You can walk all over Seward from this location. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again."

  • A+ Rental and A+++ Hosts !!

    "My wife and I just returned from a great 4 day mini-cation in Seward. We rented the Bayview property and could not have been more impressed. This place is prefect for a couple or a larger group. Very spacious, comfy beds, and it's big enough to be able to spread out. SOO MUCH better than a more expensive hotel room. There's a free shuttle in Seward (look for the school bus) and there is a Shuttle Stop within easy walking distance. For that matter, everything is within ey walking distance. We HIGHLY recommend this spot and Lyrissa and Andy are fantastic hosts !!!"
