  • Great location with wonderful owners.

"The loft is very comfortable with great views. Rachel and Jake were so nice and helpful with suggestions on where to find moose, the best trails for people with not so young knees and anything else we asked them about. The location is perfect, in between Anchorage and Seward. There is a trail close by to a bridge that crosses the creek to go to Town Square."

  • Excellent choice for accommodations in Anchorage

"My wife and I planned to be in Anchorage for four nights preceding departure on a tour of Alaska. We chose Lakeside Suite due to its beautiful natural setting and its price that is very competitive with all the hotels in town. We really enjoyed our stay at Lakeside. We toured the lake two times in the owner's canoe, shopped for groceries at the nearby Carr's, ate in town at Yak & Yetti and walked in nearby Kincaid Park. We could have just relaxed more at the Lakeside if our itinerary had allowed. Food for breakfast was provided each day in our suite so we could make it ourselves and get about our day. Breakfast selections included a variety of cereals, oatmeal, breads, yogurt, fruit and hard boiled eggs with coffee or tea - just what I would have eaten if I were at home. Owners Tim and Annie were very nice. Many of our companions on the tour spent their first night in Anchorage in a hotel or B&B in town or at the airport. I am glad we stayed at Lakeside Suite."

  • Simple, nice cabin

"We enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable. The property manager was responsive to supplying some basic kitchen wares which were needed. Not a riverfront property but we did not anticipate having a view of the Kenai River. It was very handy to have the washer and dryer for a one week stay."

  • Adventure of a life time...

"Absolutely positively the best of the best possible locations to stay in Alaska... And then if your are interested in actually hooking up and "landing" salmons... There is no better place.. The cabins are amazing... Hosts incredible... But the fishing is off the charts.... "Private Dock".... If you have fished the river... Then you know... During the season it's wall to wall fisherman.... But not here... And all the gear you can imagine is hanging on the wall.. Ready for you to use and if that's not enough... Ron is standing by with a life time of experiences to guide you through the process.. And there is Denise... As sweet and charming as a host you could ever imagine... Denise made sure everything was perfect for us upon arrival and throughout our entire stay As previously stated... The best of the best!!!"
