  • Immaculately clean and perfect for Anchorage weekend getaway!

"This unit was perfect for our group of 5 during a winter weekend getaway in Anchorage. The unit was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities we need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well stocked, great linens, and super comfy beds. Our group benefited by also renting the adjacent unit so we were able to keep a larger group together in one location. The unit was a convenient distance to stores and restaurants (Rustic Goat). I would recommend this stay to anyone coming to Anchorage."

  • Awesome place, great service, will come again

"I was very surprised at how this rental was, it is just like home. Hey have everything from the coffee in the morning to the warm tea or coco at night. I will definitely rent again from the owners. Very nice, helpful, and Alaskan. We didn't have any issues so I didn't have to call them for anything during our stay, but I think they would have jumped if we did. If your looking for a ski in ski out rental, this would work, my husband skied home every night we were here. I love that it's in the heart of Alyeska, walk to shops, dinner, and slopes. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the rental. You have a good kitchen/living room area, a full size washer and dryer, bedroom has a queen and a single bed, living room has a futon bed. You can easily sleep 6 people, and not be stepping over each other. Only downside is that there was no hair dryer, no biggy, if that was my only worry, life is good!😀򐀊 I will definitely recommend them to our friends and family, and we will absolutely be back to stay. For the location, space, and price it's well worth a trip to Alyeska!"

  • Brand new clean house with Kachemak bay views

"We stayed at the Gingerbread house for five nights in July 2016. The house is brand new and very clean. The bathroom was spotless. Each room has high ceilings and its own heater. The main room is expansive with abundant natural light. We had our meals on the back deck enjoying the bay view. The house is very private and very quiet. We had no problem driving to the Homer spit and also to the Russian village at the terminus of East End road. The views from East End road and also from nearby Skyline road are incredible. We took Mako water taxi to Glacier spit for a hike to Grewingk Glacier Lake at the base of Grewingk glacier. The scenery was heavenly. We saw humpback whales and sea otters en route. The Gingerbread house is within a mile of Homestead restaurant which had an excellent sablefish (also known as black cod or butterfish) entree. Fritz Creek grocery had delicious hummus as well as duck noodles with the most tender duck that I have ever had."

  • Our stay was enhanced by these lovely accommodations. The home is clean and well stocked.

"From our early planning, Nina was pleasant to work with and as our trip time neared, she was careful to check in with us and provide us with helpful information to made our arrival and stay an easy experience. The home is located in a lovely neighborhood, convenient to to restaurants, and other sites to visit. One of the best features was having a picturesque lake within easy walking distance. This place was truly a "home" away from home."
