  • Perfect Homebase for exploring Juneau

"Great property! Amazing views from the roomy and well stocked kitchen/living area. Super convenient to everything since nothing is more than 10 min away in Juneau, lol! Very comfortable bedding and ample closet space. As others have said, could use more bath linens, but not a big deal - laundry room made it easy. Looks like various travelers have left little convenience items and non perishables, which is cool - we left bear spray for hiking! Eli and Annabelle were very responsible to misc q's by email. House is a duplex but was quiet for most of the weeklong stay. Driveway is a little tricky parking/reversing in dark, but just a matter of practice. Had a great week celebrating my fathers 70th bday, can't thank Eli & family enough for sharing their beautiful home -"

  • Great 2 bedroom spot!

"My family and I had such a wonderful stay at this apartment. It is very clean and private. We have an 11 month old and this apartment was very kid friendly! The bread and jam were delicious! We were grateful for the hospitality and would highly recommend this spot!"

  • Extraordinary, Beautiful, and Amazing!

"My daughter and I stayed at Pats Place 9/12-9/20 and we were in heaven! The home is clean, spacious, comfortable, and well-stocked with all the necessities. Amazing views of the waterfall, rainforest, ocean, and mountains! Pat was out of town and spoke with my daughter and she said he was so nice and helpful. Beth, his friend and housekeeper picked us up at the airport and she was so nice and gracious. She carried my luggage down the many steps. By the way, we enjoyed the many steps because it was so beautiful going up and down. We loved them lit up at night. I would recommend this home for a fabulous Juneau vacation. In fact, my sister and her family are going to stay in Pat's home next year. My husband couldn't make the trip and he was very jealous :-) and we are going to go back so he can kayak, fish, hike, use the fire pit, and hike to the Ice Caves. We were so grateful to use Pat's SUV and we explored Juneau and did many activities and tours. We did the helicopter tour and landed on the icefield on Herbert glacier. We walked on the icefield and it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We went to St. Theresa's Shrine and it was peaceful and beautiful. We walked around downtown and did the Tramway and hiked up at the top. It was breathtaking! We went to the State Museum and that was wonderful. We toured the salmon hatchery and loved it. We went to the Mendenhall Glacier and walked to nugget Falls and it was a powerful experience. We went on the Whale Watch Tour and it was so nice just to go out in the boat and see the scenery. We passed Admiralty Island where a lot of bears live and had 2 Humpback whales play around the boat and one jumped out of the water and another surfaced right next to the boat. It was amazing! We drove the 48 mile Glacier Highway North and South and there are wonderful hiking trails that we tried out. We carried bear spray just in case we ran into a brown bear Yikes but thankfully we did not :-) There is a beautiful State Park north of Pat"s home where you can see Glacier Bay National Park in the distance and the Lynn Canal runs through the park and it was incredible. There was a black bear with her cub that went down to the canal and we were so amazed! We joked that we were in a National Geographic documentary. We did the rainforest tour which was fabulous and ate at the Salmon bake which was really neat. We didn't cook and ate at fabulous restaurants. Thank you Pat! We had a memorable and extraordinary vacation!"

  • Snowy Alyeska

"Our families had a wonderful stay here in Girdwood AK. We loved the unit and the view it offered of the mountain ski lights. We were sad to discover that the hot tub was cold the morning we woke up hoping to tub before the kids woke up.......(definitely check the control panel before going to bed!) The beds were super comfy and the folks that manage the place were really helpful! We'll be back!"
