  • Great property, great location, overall great experience for first ever trip to Alaska!

"The property was even better than described in the listing description. Very clean and well maintained. The owners were awesome! We knew we were going to have a very late arrival, so they were so kind to leave some breakfast goodies for us in the refrigerator. And they were very helpful in offering suggestions for activities. The cabin and property overall was immaculate. The Wasilla location is great, as we were able to see many great sites within a few hour's drive - from Denali (to the north) to the Portage Glacier in the Chugach National forest (south of Anchorage), and many places in between. I would highly recommend this property for both the ideal location and wonderful hospitality shown by the owners. Be sure to bring a good camera, as the scenery is spectacular (and a smartphone camera just can't capture the detail)!"

  • Loved our stay!

"Our stay in the Coho cabin was fantastic! It was so peaceful and secluded. Our family of 6 stayed comfortably and enjoyed watching the salmon in the creek just outside our door! The location was great for us to take day trips to Talkeetna, Denali and the Matanuska glacier. We would definitely recommend this cabin and Diane was great to work with."

  • Beautiful, peaceful.

"I stayed here at Neklason Lake October 3-18, 2016. Brenda and Bob are very warm and kind hosts. Everything one could need is included in this rental for a comfortable stay. The place is clean and lovely with a gorgeous view of the water. We were lucky to be visiting when flocks of swans were migrating to the lake for winter. I will certainly stay here again if possible on my next return to Alaska. Thank you, Brenda and Bob, for a lovely, private and peaceful two weeks with my daughter. 😊"

  • Relaxing & Beautiful

"We truly enjoyed our stay at the beautiful cabin in the mountains. Important features seeing the wilds of Alaska while not sacrificing comfort! Easy access to the Glenn Highway and many attractions to see from Hatcher's Pass, Matanuska Glacier which is the largest glacier accessible by car in the U.S. We used the cabin as our base camp to see Talkeetna, Wasilla and Palmer. The cabin features up to date necessities from being able to cook dinner to wifi access. You are literally steps away from wildlife out the front door with moose in the area. Also, incredible views of the mountains from the wraparound front porch. We visited during the winter and found the location easily accessible, and plan to visit again the summer. Great hosts who are very knowledgeable about the area."
