  • Great place with great views

"We had a great time and love the yard and views. Our second time to visit. Internet and cable didn't work, which would have been nice once kids were asleep, but that didn't really matter. Would recommend to anyone"

  • Perfect breakfast sunrise.

"We stayed in this lovely Palmer home for a weekend of basketball at Palmer High School. Scott had a fire going for our arrival, which made the home extra cozy. We ate in the first night and the kitchen had everything we needed to throw together deluxe chicken salads. We prepared breakfast both mornings and the table had plenty of space for eating and visiting and transitioned right into great work space. The internet was fast and flawless. Both my husband and I were able to get considerable work done while we watched the sunrise each morning. The view of Pioneer Peak and the river valley is spectacular. All the bedrooms had comfortable beds and it was quiet all night long. Scott was a great host, waiting at the dark driveway with a light so we could find our way on arrival. He showed us around and instructed us on how to use the woodstove. He also checked in to make sure we had plenty of firewood on day two and gave us flexibility on our check out time on our departing day. Scott and Bettina's dogs were a big hit with our girls, we would have liked the little one to move in with us. We had a great dinner our last night there at Palmer Ale House and it was a very short drive home. Downtown Palmer, also just a short drive, has really developed as a nice walk around, shop, stop for coffee or a meal area. We all enjoyed time there, especially the bookstore and Vagabond Coffee Café. This cozy, peaceful, comfortable home met all our expectations and contributed to a lovely family weekend get away. We got to watch our boys play ball, too. We would definitely recommend it to friends and will consider staying there again next year."

  • The Cozy Moose was perfect!

"This was the nicest place we stayed in during our 2 weeks in Alaska, including Princess lodges, B&Bs and other VRBO units. Very comfortable. Great location just off Glenn and Parks highways. Close to Hatcher Pass, Matanuska valley and Chugach State Park. Super comfy king bed, everything we needed in the kitchen area, nice private deck with a view of mountains, and a nice sitting area with couch, chair and large flat screen TV (although we didn't have time to watch much). Bathroom was nice with plenty of quality towels. Nice parking area and private keypad entry made getting in and out easy for the 3 days we were there. Had a friendly chat with Johnnie one day - nice guy. Donna had some chocolates and muffins on the table when we checked in. A simple but appreciated gesture. I doubt you could find a better place to stay."

  • Quiet Convenient Cabin

"I stayed at the cabin with 5 teenagers for 3 nights. I chose the cabin for easy access to ziplining at Matanuska Glacier and hiking at Hatcher Pass. The cabin is also only 15 minutes from Palmer which makes it very convenient for shopping and any extras you may have forgotten. The cabin is secluded in a quiet neighborhood near a lake. The kids enjoyed the space to roam a bit outdoors and the adults enjoyed the decks and BBQ grill. We had a larger group and the owners added a few foldaway beds and supplied plenty of linen for all of our group. Overall this was a great stay in a very clean cabin that accommodated all our needs. Thanks again for making our stay special."
