  • Treasured Experience

"I can't say enough good things about this cabin. The photos do not do it justice. It is beautiful inside and out. It's kitchen is equipped with just about anything you would need and it has all sorts of entertainment available---pool table, card table, stereo, cable, wi-fi, etc., not to mention the awesome forest trails right outside the back yard. This cabin is in a nice cul-de-sac and although there are many cabins in the area, it was quiet, serene, and felt uncrowded. The interior of the cabin is spacious and the furniture is very comfortable. The cabin was well insulated against heat and cold. There was plenty of wood pellets for the wood pellet stove and firewood for the fireplace. Truly our stay was an amazing experience full of nature. We experienced everything from a peaceful snowfall to an exciting thunderstorm to glorious blue skies. The starry nights were incredible. The trees, rocks, birds, wildlife and forest in general made our stay! Great trails to hike that are well-maintained. We took a zillion pictures! The owner, Brad, was a fantastic host. Very conscientious and considerate. It was a pleasure to meet him."

  • Beautiful cabin

"We stayed at the cabin for two weeks and loved it. We have kids and they enjoyed the downstairs game room. The location was great. Easy walk to hiking and fishing. Very clean cabin and had everything we needed."

  • Lovely cabin

"Very nice, clean cabin. All around good accommodations. We loved the large wrap around deck, even though it rained every night. Comfortable. My youngest daughter said it felt like home the moment we walked in. Nice neighborhood close to hiking trails. We didn't find any nearby stores, so I'm glad we packed all our own food. Kitchen was well stocked, including a coffee maker. We had a great time with our 4 children (ages 7-10) and recommend the rental."

  • If this property were to have a name, it would be 'Serenity.'

"Recipe for 'Serenity: Take a quaint cabin: separate it into two generous sized bedrooms, each with a bathroom. Place a gracious and comfortable living room and small, but perfectly equipped kitchen and breakfast bar between the bedroom. Add a large helping of attractive decor, wi-fi and telecommunication. Garnish with a small rear deck and table-for-two, perfect for morning coffee tea or a star-lit glass of wine. Place a large out door dining area at the entrance and festoon the deck with pots of brightly colored flowers. Sprinkle the entire exterior with pines shading the area and whispering in the breeze. That is what awaits at the Cabin in the Pines. When you pull into the carport, you begin to relax. This unit is exceptionally clean and complete with everything a person could want for a get-away-to-the-mountains. If you want information about the many near-by sites, just look at the owner'sl collection of materials giving at the details necessary for touring the area. The cabin is conveniently close to Flagstaff and Sedona. Want to stick close by? A ten minute walk up the road leads you do a trailhead for well-marked trails...a quiet walk in the woods or up to a 10 mile hike for the adventurous! The owners provide detailed information before your stay and are available if you have questions. For people with an ATV, there is an ATV trail area about 3 miles up the road. Not only would I recommend this to friends, I plan on going back!"
