  • Excellent Value / Excellent Location

"My husband and I stayed here for a week over Thanksgiving. As regular visitors to Sedona, we decided on trying a VRBO instead of a hotel. Very happy with our decision! Vicki made sure the lights were on for a late arrival, everything was clean and kitchen nicely stocked. Very convenient to restaurants and hiking. I would recommend this property."

  • Fran's Place

"Sedona is universally noted for its beauty; mountains surround the city and they literally change color depending upon the whim of the sun. It's a metaphysical place with energy "hot spots" called vortexes. 4 of them. It's a hiker's paradise with enough trails to keep the most savage outdoors-person occupied for months and not be able to experience them all. Music abounds; activities galore for the most relaxes to the most energetic. I know all this because Frannie knows it all. Her place, Casa Bella Vista is just incredible. She's been a "local" for 30+ years and there is nothing, and I mean nothing, Frannie doesn't know about Sedona. The best hike? Frannie knows. The best breakfast? Frannie knows. The best turquoise mens ring with spider-web matrix and silver band made a Navajo co-op with a lifetime guarantee and free repair for under $200 within 10 miles? Yep, Frannie knows. And why am I fixated on Frannie and not her property? Because Frannie IS her property. Imagine your ideal place to stay. Imagine big! What do you need for it to be perfect? Hot tub? Got that. Big over-stuffed king-sized Master bedroom mattress that you almost need stairs to climb into it? Got that. Well stocked kitchen with almost every conceivable appliance, assuming you're not a chef in a 5-star restaurant? Got that. A library of facts about Sedona; where to go, what to do, what it costs, how long will it take to get there? Got that The ability to walk and accomplish all your errands. Got that. Breath-taking views. Yep. Got that. You see my point here? Dream big...imagine everything you want. Make a list. Then when you're ready, call Frannie. No need to thank me. Thank Frannie...for her amazing place, her amazing presence in an amazing town."

  • Total and absolute perfection!

"Only superlatives can properly describe this lovely, elegantly comfortable home. The owners obviously have settled for nothing less than perfection in furnishing the place, both inside and out. I had the good fortune to stay there for 5 weeks in June and July, 2016, and enjoyed every moment. My days would usually start with breakfast on the front patio, while the sun rose and the birds hopped and twittered in the hedges. Often I took a hike on one of the many trails which I could access without my needing to drive. And the hikes, just like the windows in the house and the veranda upstairs, all offered breathtaking views of magical Cathedral Rock. One of my fondest memories is of a thunderstorm over the Rock, when she was crowned in a diamond tiara of lightning. Some days I happily hung out at the house, reading in the comfortable chairs, cooking in the perfectly appointed kitchen, drinking in the light show on Cathedral Rock as the sun moved across the sky and the clouds did their constant shape-shifting dance. Such peace and tranquility! My favorite evening activity was to sit on the veranda, sip something cool and watch the colors of the Rock cycle thru a breathtaking gamut of oranges and reds. The nightly silence was only broken by the drum role of thunder or perhaps the songs of the local coyote chorus. Other days I drove into "town," or West Sedona, which offered everything that I needed-two movie theaters; two gyms; an award-winning public library which offered classes and concerts; several yoga studios, (7 Centers is my favorite); 4 grocery stores; art galleries and mystical Sedona specialty shops galore; and amenities such as a computer repair clinic and a friendly, knowledgeable mechanic. All of this was less than 10 minutes by car. No two trips were the same, set as they were against the backdrop of the ever changing light on Sedona's justly famous red rocks. An added treat was the helpfulness and easy accessibility of the management company for a few minor problem that came up. And the perfect finishing touch was the friendliness and attentiveness of Florene, the owner, who shared ideas on things to do that were off the beaten path and regaled me with stories of native American traditions relevant to the house and area. All in all, I felt that I was staying in the home of a kind, generous friend; I hope to return to 25 Zane Gray Lane for many years to come."

  • SOOOOOO Peaceful!!!

"This weekend was the best ever!!! My husband and I have been needing a weekend getaway and boy was this weekend worth every penny! We were able to take our two small dogs with us, sit back and just relax. Cornville is such a quiet little town and Allie's Acre is located on the best street in town. The street is lined with big, beautiful weeping willows as well as pines etc. The lawns are lush and green. There is a wonderful gazebo located on the property and is perfect for reading and watching the dogs play. The cottage is clean, comfortable and oh so welcoming! Corresponding with the owner was painless and made everything so easy for us to just get away and relax. My husband and I were able to rest, watch a movie, and yet still get out and about to enjoy the local environment. We had a wonderful romantic dinner at Up The Creek, a peaceful afternoon reading the paper in the gazebo and a great day exploring Cottonwood and Sedona - both located just a short drive away. We would love to come again some time and do it all over! I am glad we live just a short one hour drive away - making our dream of returning not just a possibility, but a reality."
