  • Wonderful...exactly what we wanted.

"The condo was even nicer than we expected. It is the first time using VRBO that everything we needed was present at the rental. It was clean, with plenty of towels, cookware, entertaining "stuff," and lots and lots of condiments in the refrigerator. We would recommend it to our friends. In fact, we had friends that rented a condo at the same time we did (just up the hill from us) and they were jealous. It turned out that their condo was very dirty and lacked many items. It was a wonderful stay. Annie and Michael Roberts"

  • Perfect get-away place

"This cottage is a perfect get away place! It's amazing how quiet and peaceful the neighborhood is when it is just a short walk to main street. Many beautiful places around there to walk our pups every morning. The cottage is very comfortable and welcoming, with a feeling of being at home. It has everything you need for comfort and relaxation. The front porch is a wonderful reading spot in the mornings and evenings. The large living area was a great gathering spot with our family. The bedrooms are very comfortable. Perfect location when visiting Sedona."

  • great house from which to explore Sedona!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Carol and Gils house. We were there for New Year's for 4 nights with our 3 teenage daughters. This house is the perfect location to walk to the sugarloaf trailhead and access quite a few trails! We had beautiful weather and hiked every day starting with the hike Gil recommended. The next day we did the teacup trail to Soldiers pass trail past the 7 sacred pools on toward Brins Mesa trail. I recommend that hike as well. Out and back that one took us about 2.5 hours maybe 3. (we love to hike!) The house is exactly as shown, clean and comfortable. Lots of great towels and very comfortable beds. I did not think we would see much wildlife as it is a pretty busy neighborhood with lots of houses. (as i expected knowing the area quite well like we do.) We were amazed at how quiet it was at night! Completely silent, even on New Year's Eve. A far cry from the noisy Westin where we had spent the week before in Scottsdale. We saw only some bunnies in the back until the very last moments we were there. As we were packing the car, i heard a noise and up strolled a javelina on the left side of the house toward the backyard! I ran back in and took some pictures as he meandered his way all the way up through the yard! i was so glad i got to see one up close. We have been coming to AZ for years and it was only our second sighting! Great house. We'll be back. thanks for everything, those walking sticks came in handy!! our girls, ages 17,15 and 13 (and very fit) loved the following hike: Fay's canyon including the end section which is not maintained and is a bit of a cliff climb over a ledge for stunning pictures of courthouse rock and bell rock. Also on Fay's canyon hike they loved the climb (scramble) to Fay's arch. other favorites: Boynton Canyon Hike including the Vista West Fork Trail Devil's Bridge"

  • Breathtaking stay!

"We are a family of 4 and have stayed all over the world in many places. We have travelled since my children were small and now they are grown. This condo was classy and capacious with tons of bathrooms. We are accustomed to having to move carefully around each other in other apartments we have stayed, but that was not the case here. One of our most important criterion for choosing a place is the comfort of the bed. A good night sleep is paramount to us. We have an expensive mattress in our home but would happily trade up to the mattress in the condo. We concluded that we could quite happily live here. The condo is gated and easy to enter and exit onto the main street. The grocery store is a few mins by car but you could comfortably walk there. There are many hikes and endless beautiful scenery everywhere you look. You can't take a bad photo! Rich and Jean have thought of everything including a park pass that allows free access. I wish I had noticed that on the first day. This place is a no-brainer decision and we would gladly come back anytime. Thank you Rich and Jean, may you do well with all your guests!
