  • Private and comfortable retreat

"My husband and I spent 3 days at the ranch and were very comfortable. The house was charming and easy to relax in. The kitchen is equipped with about all you would need. The bed is very comfy. We loved sitting on the front porch in the afternoon and sunning in the back yard. We also hiked the property and enjoyed the scenery. The hot air balloons came over the house every morning. Lots of books and movies to enjoy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will come back again. Thank you!"

  • Light, bright and open home with gorgeous views and nearby hikes

"We stayed at East of the Sun for Labor Day weekend to escape the Phoenix heat, and it was just what we needed! The setting is beautiful and the house is light, bright and open with plenty of space to move around in the living areas. Everything is very clean and well-stocked, and Louisa made sure to check in with us upon arrival to give us some local tips. We especially enjoyed walking through the prairie on the trail she told us about - so beautiful! She does have a lot of house rules, the biggest being to restrict water usage. But ultimately it didn't end up being as big a deal as we thought it might. We brought in lots of our own water for drinking and just took really short showers and didn't ever leave water running to wash dishes or brush teeth. The one thing that was just a little disappointing for us is that the second bedroom is teeny tiny and stuffy while the master is enormous and beautiful with vaulted ceilings and french doors opening to a private patio. When traveling with two couples who are sharing the cost evenly, we clearly had very different accommodations."

  • Nice, Comfortable, Convenient place

"6 of us stayed at the Red Rock Retreat for 4 nights this week. We were very comfortable there and enjoyed our stay. This is not the Ritz Carlton but while the decor is a bit dated, everything is very comfortable and very clean, in good shape and easy to use. We would gladly stay here again when back in Page. There is plenty of seating for relaxing in the family room(complete with plenty of board games). The kitchen is well equipped for cooking. The backyard is nice and has some fun outdoor games. It is only a few minutes from the main part of town and easy access to the lake and the dam and a quick walk down to the Rim View Trail."

  • Summer vacation

"The cabin was a great place to stay, especially with dogs. There is a fenced in side yard with access from the porch so the dogs could come and go freely without fear of them getting away. It made the vacation so much more relaxing as we didn't have to take the dogs out on their leases to go. We could just let them on the porch and down the steps to the side yard. Thanks for a great summer vacation!"
