  • Home with awesome views of the red rocks

"The house had everything you need to feel like you are at home. The house is tastefully decorated with many beautiful accessories. 2 nice size bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, washer and dryer, fully equipped kitchen. We ate 5 out of 7 nights in as we enjoyed the views and quiet area in the evening. Conveniently located close to an IGA food store and 10-15 min from downtown Sedona. Close to many good hiking areas. A very nice cactus garden a short walk down the street from the house. An attached garage made keeping the car safe and easy for loading and unloading the car."

  • A perfect spot for exploring the Sedona area

"We recently spent the month of March at this home and thoroughly enjoyed it. The home was beautiful with an incredible view of the golf course and red rocks out the large window of the living room. The sun hit the red rocks at sunset and they were lit up in a beautiful red color. The view never got old. As a golfer, this was a great location in that I could walk to the club house of Oak Creek Country Club and my wife, relaxing on the large patio, could critique my shots as I approached the ninth green. We hiked almost every day and the majority of trailheads were within 20 minutes of the home. Being in Oak Creek got us away from some of the congestion that was in Sedona, especially around midday. The home was well furnished and very roomy. My wife and I each had a very large walk-in closet and the other bedroom was equally large. We had guests stay with us during the month and there was plenty of room for everyone. We really wanted to rent it again in 2017, but it was not available. You will not go wrong with this rental!"

  • The house was far better than what we expected.

"We forgot to write the address but had the cleaning lady's number (Joan was out of town or country so it was nice she left us an alternate contact) so called her for last minute directions to the house. She was so gracious and helpful and we were very appreciative especially since we disturbed her Christmas Day. The house was warm, inviting and clean. All beds were cozy and comfortable and we loved hearing the coyotes howl and chatter at dawn. We even captured photos of them in the backyard. Location was perfect for our needs. I stayed in the heart of Sedona on my last trip but much prefer Western Sedona and Joan's house. The kitchen was fully stocked to include coffee filters and it was convenient to have a washer and dryer to clean up clothing after our climbs on the red rocks. Sedona is magical and staying at Joan's added to the magic. I highly recommend her abode. With regards to food we Loved eating at Nick's for breakfast and if you go early ask for the early bird menu as it takes a few dollars off your meal. It is within walking distance along with the Crystal Magic shop. Enjoy!"

  • SOOOOOO Peaceful!!!

"This weekend was the best ever!!! My husband and I have been needing a weekend getaway and boy was this weekend worth every penny! We were able to take our two small dogs with us, sit back and just relax. Cornville is such a quiet little town and Allie's Acre is located on the best street in town. The street is lined with big, beautiful weeping willows as well as pines etc. The lawns are lush and green. There is a wonderful gazebo located on the property and is perfect for reading and watching the dogs play. The cottage is clean, comfortable and oh so welcoming! Corresponding with the owner was painless and made everything so easy for us to just get away and relax. My husband and I were able to rest, watch a movie, and yet still get out and about to enjoy the local environment. We had a wonderful romantic dinner at Up The Creek, a peaceful afternoon reading the paper in the gazebo and a great day exploring Cottonwood and Sedona - both located just a short drive away. We would love to come again some time and do it all over! I am glad we live just a short one hour drive away - making our dream of returning not just a possibility, but a reality."
