  • Cozy home on Christopher Creek

"This was my third visit in the last 4 years to this vacation home. On this occasion, I invited my elderly parents to stay with me. We had a wonderful time relaxing on the large tree shaded patio overlooking Christopher Creek. One night we even saw an elk in the front yard! We really appreciated the fully equipped kitchen and dining area. The bedrooms are large and comfortable. Won't be long before we are back for visit number four. Thank you Anita!"

  • Perfect for big groups!!

"There were 13 in our group (4 different families) ranging in age from 9 to 70- this house was the perfect set up for us. We called it "the compound", because the property has 3 buildings all connected by an amazing wrap around deck. Since there are 3 buildings we never felt like we were on top of each other. There was plenty of room to spread out. It backs up to the woods, so it was a very private setting. There was a fireplace outside, but we never used it due to all the snow on the ground. The main house has 5 very nice size bedrooms...2 upstairs that share a big bathroom with 2 sinks, the master is on the main floor with it's own bathroom, fireplace and door that leads to the deck, 2 large bedrooms down in the walk-out basement also with a bathroom. The kitchen has a nice big table, double ovens, a fireplace. The great room has plenty of seating and a fireplace. The guest house has 2 big bedrooms and they share a bathroom. The game room has a pool table, shuffle board and darts. There is a fireplace in there too! Since we were there in the winter we put all 4 of those fireplaces to work all day long! Sunrise is a 30 minute drive. Safeway is just a few minutes away, so if you forget something it's not a huge deal. Since there was so many of us we planned all of our meals and ate at "the compound". We did get pizza one night from Red Devil and that was really good. James was very easy to communicate with. We will definitely recommend this place to anyone heading to Pinetop. We all had a great time and hope to make it back!"

  • Perfect getaway

"Our family had such a nice time staying at The Carriage House. Mike and Ellen were so easy to work with and they provided everything we needed to getaway and relax together in a comfortable place. It was also a great central location to enjoy Prescott, Sedona and the surrounding Arizona landscape. We look forward to another stay at The Carriage House!"
