  • This is the place to stay

"We spent the entire month of October 2016 in this vacation home and loved every minute. We would take our dog for her daily walk around the courthouse and met the friendliest folks. This town is so quaint and cool that guaranteed, you will fall in love with Prescott. And the courthouse is maybe an eighth of a mile away. You are right there in the midst of the action. You will find a variety of bars, restaurants, shops, antique stores to explore and enjoy. There was some type of event every weekend on the court house grounds. Also you will fall in love with this charming old Victorian home. It is comfortable and quiet and we had a month of total relaxation. The home is decorated so uniquely that you can spend much time just taking in the decor. You will also find that the light that filters through the abundance of stained glass windows adds to the charm and character of this home. We spend many hours setting on the front porch and taking in the view of Thumb Butte as well as the private and spacious rear patio. The owner, Steve is very pleasant and accommodating. You cannot go wrong with this vacation choice."

  • Very Comfortable Townhouse ideally situated within easy walk to town square

"This review is for the 2-story Townhouse (Terrace is partially above both Townhouse and adjacent rental The Cottage). First, the corner situation couldn't be better, as the living room looks out onto 2 of Prescott's picturesque tree-lined streets. With short walk to town square and its many excellent non-chain restaurants we were set for a lazy long week-end, with no car - it stayed conveniently parked in front of the house. Our stay was a winter stay, and the house stayed nice and toasty all weekend. As advertised, TV had extended cable and Netflix with conformable seating to enjoy it from. Kitchen was well equipped for any meal preparation, although our actual cooking was limited a single cooked breakfast. The 2 bedrooms upstairs were compact and the beds were very conformable. The quirky upstairs room arrangement with a Jack and Jill bathroom worked well to maximize the limited space available for the bedrooms themselves. Finally, we must thank Larry, the owner. He was without doubt one of the best hosts. When he learned that we had a problem just before we were due to stay, he offered a solution, without us even asking (I would say more but don't want to set any potentially unrealistic expectations from Larry for future). He really made our weekend. Thanks Larry."

  • Interesting place to visit with cozy accommodations.

"Stay December 18 – 21, 2016. Located within a 2 block walk to the center of Prescott, this Chalet is an excellent place to stay. The Chalet is very cozy home with a kitchen which has everything you need including dishes, pots, pans, banking pans, blender, and mixer which you do not commonly find in all VRBO’s. The owner Pearl meets you at the Chalet and takes you for a walk through and full explanation of the home. The area is very secure and offers a large area for off street parking. Interested in perhaps moving to Prescott, Pearl took some time to explain living in Prescott as she is a native to the area. She also described other areas around Prescott which might be of interest to us. Should we determine that we would move to Prescott, we definitely would choose this Chalet as the place to stay while pursuing our options."
